A cozy place with japanese decoration and a concise menu that is more than enough. Big bowls of delicious ramen for just $11 and appetizers to die for, like the tradicional guioza or the shrimp dumpling. You can choose if you want them fried or...More

Great food. First time having ramen aside from the instant kind and it was awesome. Our glasses were always filled, you were never rushed and the dessert was fantastic!

The place has good stuff, at the counter or tables. Not so loud and not as fancy or pricy as ippodo. Neighborhood spot. Tenth bowl of Ramen free.

I always loved this place, they moved a couple of years ago in a larger spot but the previous one was bar only and I loved it. I always take the Shoyu ramen, but the Shashu is excellent and they have seasonal dishes that are...More

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
