My wife and I went here tonight, because I wanted to show her a place I really like and they did not disappoint. Our waiter, Kirt, was fun and knowledgeable and have us fantastic service. The rest of the staff made sure our water was...More

5 Ninth is right in the heart of Meatpacking but it's so small and intimate you feel like you're somewhere else. Great top floor wine bar. It's a super cool spot for lunch on their garden or before dinner drink upstairs. I never ate there...More

After getting there, it sounded nice to be seated in the back yard of a restaurant that resambles a house. However, once the food started to be served everything went downhill. I ordered a toast with mushrooms to start. The bread came as hard as...More

Loved this place for a drink. Didn´t have dinner, just went upstairs and had some drinks and finger food. Kind of loud music, but had lots of fun.

This place is in the Meat Packing District, just near the southern end of the High Line - some might consider it a little too 'in' but my wife and I (both in our 60s) really love it. Nice bar with a good wine list...More

Great music - only place I've been where a DJ can manage to mix De La Soul into Stevie Wonder! Great atmosphere, very friendly and cool without being completely up its own backside, unlike other places in the Meatpackers District.

I just visited 5 Ninth for the third time, and have had equally good experiences each time. It is a cozy little gem, very different in its vibe from the surrounding restaurants. The service is great, and the food has a sublime simplicity to it...More

I went for brunching. The host was quite bad, we sat at the bar for 15 minutes while they prepared our table in the garden and the bartender didn't even look at us. Food was average (uncooked eggs, not so good home fries...). Our server...More

I had brunch on Father's Day with my two kids (16 and 18) at 5 Ninth. We ate in the outdoor courtyard. I had a Seared Yellow fin Tuna with Avocado, spicy aioli on tostada. It was an amazing interpretation of a gourmet fish taco....More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
