Classic old bar in the St. Regis Hotel with the iconic mural stretching behind the bar. Great cocktails. An experience.

After early dinner on a Monday evening we wanted to have classic cocktails at classic New York bar. We arrived at The St. Regis hotel, admired the interior a while and sat down by the bar. She asks the bartender, "Can I have a drink with grapefruit in it?" The bartender replied with authentic New York accent, "Maybe grapefruit juice... More

Still a very good location and beautiful decor but the service is seriously slipping. It seems that clients are bothering the personnel... too bad...

We visited several similar bars on our trip to NYC but came to prefer King Cole Bar more than any others (Especially disliked the Palms Court at the Plaza, don't go there, the service is rude and snobby, and prices inflated for an average product)...So, we loved K.C.B.! Arrived late night on a Friday. Between the lounge area outside and... More

While staying at the St. Regis we dropped in for a late night cocktail after the theater. It was just as we had remembered it. A perfect place to stop into before going up for the night. It has a warm cozy atmosphere and it's very inviting. The cocktails are made to perfection!

The King Cole Bar, located in the 5 Star 5 Diamond St. Regis Hotel, is a must visit while in NYC. Yes, the drinks are a bit pricey but worth it. The atmosphere is vibrant and friendly.

Used to be one of my favorites bars. Not today. Children shouting next to my table. No thank you. I left. Really in an Old School bar you have children of 5 years or younger.

I have specific tastes when it comes to drinks. The bar keep was very accommodating with my request. The service is outstanding, probably the best I have ever come across. Of course in keeping with the hotel style the bar is famous for it's art work.

Thank Jack K

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
