Every time I visit New York City I love going to dinner at the coffee shop! It is a good restaurant and bar but has a diner vibe to the place! The food is great, fast and I love that it is always busy even at the late hours of the night. I would extremely recommend to visitors of NYC... More

I visited the coffee bar with no expectations what so ever and so wasn't disappointed. To be honest I was probably far more interested in my date than the place, but I found this place to have a very comfortable and exciting atmosphere on the Saturday night that I visited. We only had drinks at the bar but my date... More

Came here for a quick breakfast one day through the week since we were waiting for the shops to open at 10am. Since it was our first time at NY, we walked in and weren't sure if we had to seat ourselves or someone showed you to a table. Literally walked through the front door (wasn't busy), but the entrance... More

A bit of nostalgia mixed with great coffee, great service and a great menu selection. We were here for brunch on Sunday and loved it. It FELT like a place I would have visited in the 1950s. I had the french toast and REAL maple syrup and the others had omelettes and we all enjoyed our choices. Very attentive wait... More

We were promptly seated and the waiter was helpful n friendly. The menu was perfect for us, NYC prices. Reviewers who critique selection or price should read the menu before they decide to eat there. Greek salad was excellent, fries had a healthy amount of seasoning- don't be surprised. I will definitely go back

The atmosphere is cozy and dimly lit. The staff was attentive and the food selections were diverse. For a late night meal and a drink this was a good choice.

We met friends for brunch on a visit to NYC. The location was great and was right across the street from the Holiday market stalls at Union Square. The food was average, nothing remarkable, and the service distracted and spotty. I am glad that we visited on this particular occasion, but we will certainly find an alternative on a future... More

Bland surroundings and even blander staff. Looks like they only hire young, skinny female models, all who lack personality. Was asked if I wanted eggs and bacon or potatoes with my french toast. Was NOT told that it was an upcharge of $8. Eggs benedict was nothing special, just like this experience.

Like many NYC "diners," the facility is as shabby as it gets with frayed cushions and tired furniture but my French Toast with Berries was excellent! As we're the other breakfast items for my guests. The Herb fries would be better served "un-herbed" as the Rosemary overwhelmed the perfectly done spud.

Stopped in on a whim and glad we did. The food was great and so was the service. Mostly local trade. Located across from Union Square park so lots going on. Lump Crab Eggs Benedict with a Bloody Mary was perfect. I will come here again.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
