We have dined all over Japan and had more than 200 Omakasa meals. We stopped in at the sushi bar for a one hour lunch. As usual we ordered all the most expensive sashimi and sushi. The quality of everything was Great. The Uni,Toro and...More

Not your most reasonable sushi place but well worth it. Sit at the counter ($ 50 min) and try some truly unusual tastes.Live shrimp, we skipped it but they sure were wiggeling. The chefs will spoil you, just tell them to pick what ever is...More

I have been knowing this place for years (decades?), ever since it was named Sushi Say. It has never disappointed: the food's quality is excellent. Also worth a mention, there aren't that many sushi restaurants in the West, whose o-itamae are Japanese (a reason why,...More

I came in 15 min before 12. I was "welcomed" asked if I had a reservation. I said no. The place was empty - not a single costumer. They said I could be seated and that I'd have to wait for more than an hour...More

Went there for dinner. Close by the doubletree. The service was awesome and the sushi very fresh. Moderately priced for NY. Definitely recommend.

Stopped here on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. The place was packed with business diners (95% men in suits). We didn't have reservations. Others arrived after us and were seated first with reservations (which is nice if you know to make them). We wanted a...More

Our second time here at the bar for omakase with the head chef - truly a great experience for anyone who loves sushi and sashimi. Prices are not cheap but you are getting great service and exceptionally fresh seafood prepared in ways that you cannot...More

This is not the typical turist trap, but almost. The sushi is good, but nothing special, just in the same league as sushi you find in other places on Manhattan. Service was ok, not overwhelming, but friendly and attentive, a little stressing perhaps, with many...More

Traditional sushi restaurant with fresh fish. Cannot complain about that but the service was underwhelming. We had to ask for drinks a few times when glasses were already empty. Toro was beautiful as it was fatty and fresh!
