Every time I go to this restaurant, I am struck by how pretty the room is, but then about 10 minutes into the meal, I remember how noisy it can be. I went there with a party of 5, and had to speak very loudly to my colleagues across the table in order to make myself understood. Addiitonally, the menu... More

Excellent food, great Ambience and good service. It was very festive during Christmas and there was as an ice skating ring.

We went pre theater and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is very attractive and you can hear each other and are not on top of others. The food was very good. Really one of my best non-frenetic pre theater meals. I would go back even if not pre theater. Something for all in lovely civilized atmosphere

We were at Bryant Park and it was getting late enough that the food stalls were closing up. We spotted this place across the way and decided to give it a try. After the waitstaff sorted out who would take our table, we had an enjoyable time. The meals were tasty, but a bit over-priced; it is New York City... More

Went here for Christmas lunch 2016. It was a set menu at $85 per head. Food was good although my medium rare steak was definitely underdone. Dessert was delicious and there was a large drink selection. Orders came out very fast and close together (perhaps too close). It was very busy so service wasn't the best however they were still... The location is magnificent, the food is good and the atmosphere is great. The only but, it's price. Just excessive.

Simply the biggest rip off ever. We booked a vip table for couples with rooftop acces. VIP acces means standing in line for more then 1 hour before getting in. Hors d'oeuvres were tasteless and haven't seen many. Tables were very close together. Lucky enough the table next to us were very nice people. Organization was very bad. It's all... More

Arrived at 7:00 PM. Someone other than our wait help came by 22 minutes later merely to ask if we wanted water. Another 2 minutes for a total of 24 minutes before being asked for drinks, we opted to place our order. Nearly 45 minutes later we get our meals. Creamy Butternut Squash Risotto king oyster mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, baby... More

Came here on Christmas Day. I had the sea bass which was delicious and my partner had the turkey which was also great. Starters and deserts were tasty too and our food came out very quickly. The staff were all so friendly and attentive and overall we had a lovely Christmas meal. Nice to walk around the market afterwards and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
