Typical American food for a great value and close to Central Park! Great soups and sandwiches and those typical American dessert pies! A must go!

In a word: WOW! The bacon waffle was completely filling and well cooked, paired with fresh fruit, it was perfect. My wife had the Apple pancakes and that was a meal unto itself! Great, friendly service, farm fresh and organic. Would highly recommend!

Great surprise on our first night in NYC. Had a wonderful guacamole, light fries and the most tasting burger of the whole holiday!

If you are in the area and are looking for great food at reasonable prices then you should grab a meal here. While this restaurant is best known for its brunch/breakfast (which is solid in its own right), I actually think the lunch and dinner...More

No frills, easy catch up with a friend at this place. High table for two against the wall, plenty of hooks to hang your things on. Our waiter was quick and accommodating with coffee refills. I was partial to the bloody Mary’s ($9) spicy but...More

Came here for breakfast. We were seated promptly and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had the strawberry almond waffles and scrambled eggs, both were amazing! It's a short stroll over to Central Park, and in a lovely location just around the corner...More

Description
Today, visitors from all over the world—English, German, French, Japanese—still come to Good Enough to Eat to enjoy classic American food. They sit side by side with Upper West Side “regulars,” enjoying wholesome, mouth-watering (and ample) plates such as Macaroni and Cheese, Lemon Parmesan Chicken, Pecan Trout, Caesar Salad, Sweet Potato Fries, the now legendary Meatloaf and Turkey Dinners, and Peach Pie with homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. The appetite for wholesome, authentic, traditional American food only seems to be growing – both here and in cultures across the globe. And we at The Restaurant Group still carry out Carrie Levin’s mission to satisfy that hunger at Good Enough to Eat.
