Tried this place out just down from our hotel in Downtown NY. This place does a great breakfast and I suggest you order the Lumberjack. Prices weren’t terrible but as I said previously it’s New York prices 🥞🥞🥞🥞 out of 5

I dine here several times a year, mostly for breakfast. I almost always have eggs, home fries, toast, coffee, apple juice which is something I really look forward to. I dine there when I stay over in the city during inclement weather upstate that might...More
Stopped In for lunch around 1pm on a Monday. Crowded but fast moving line. Very nice staff at door. The waitresses seemed slightly overwhelmed with the crowd. Tuna sandwich with fries arrived quickly but table had no utensils until much later and napkins showed even...More
Within the concrete jungle of NYC stands a Diner that one would find in suburbia. The staff is great, food is top notch. Looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner while walking around TriBeCa, then stop by the Gee Whiz Diner.

This restaurant has the typical New York diner mixed fare with large portions. It's always near capacity and the staff is very helpful. Large breakfast combos abound.
My wife and I had a late breakfast/early lunch at the Gee Whiz Diner. The wife had eggs, bacon, and hash browns which she said were prepared to her liking. I had a burger and fries no complaints from me.
One night it was really raining (3 inches) so this was an easy way to get dinner....food quality is diner-style, faster than fast service and prices well below New York averages
