OH MY GOODNESS! That's about all I have to say. We went before going to the theater and the food was OUTSTANDING! By far it was my favorite meal while in town. Keep in mind they are family style so the portions are HUGE. Made to feed 4 adults easily. We had the Eggplant Parmesan and a Caesar salad. I... More

This is a very active, large restaurant with "family size" portions. We started with a Caesar salad which would have fed 6, and then had linguini and clams in a red sauce. My husband and I couldn't finish the linguini, so ordered cannolis for dessert : )) We had a fabulous cute server who was attentive and happy throughout the... More

We have been here many times and am never disappointed. The family style reminds me of Sunday Dinners at Grandmas when I was child. The portions and flavor of the Veal Parmagina, Pork Chop, Steak, Rigatoni w/ eggplant and mozzarella were outstanding. The service is great. Best bet is to call ahead for reservations. Enjoy!

Large family style portions that feed 2 to 3 people. Great selection of Pastas, Veal, Chicken, Seafood, etc. They do have round tables for some groups.

Most of the time when my family visited New York city, we like to eat in a family style restaurant such as Tony's or Carmine's. It's family style , the portions are big & food is delicious. Tony's has the best seafood dish. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food & great service. You can walk in at times but... More

Being of Italian ancestry I always look for an Italian restaurant wherever I am. Tony's was great and so was the food. Service was friendly and advice on what to have helpful. Portions massive so my partner and I shared and were still satisfied. In the 5 nights there, we went twice. Prices are not cheap but then eating out... More

The whole thing was money. Chicken parm. Scampi. Serious meatballs. But the deserts topped it all. And while we felt outcast at first being taken downstairs, it was much more quiet down there, which we preferred.

I ate dinner before attending theater last week and had a wonderful experience. The food was awesome, the atmosphere amazing and bustling, and wonderful, friendly, helpful wait staff!! I enjoyed the caprese salad (loaded with yellow and red tomatoes), the cheese ravioli (right size portion), and a wonderful lemon sorbet placed inside a frozen lemon! I was on my own... More

Went there yesterday, seated in the middle of the restaurant, I had asked if we could be moved to the wall instead since there were tables. They said they were holding it for a large party. However, by the time we finished, that table was still available. It was very pricey and the food was okay, Maggiano and Carmine was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
