My daughter loves ramen noodles and she gets it every chance she can. We have been here several times since we found this place. It's been consistently good. Love their dumplings and buns. Their vegatarian ramen noodle soup was excellent.

Service was great...food was great! We had the fried dumplings, fried rice, and ramen. The melon cream soda was really good too! Perfect meal for a snowy day.

Staff was uninterested, food was mediocre, soda gets served in the can... You better go to one of the many Chinese restaurants close by.

I have been trying Ramen all over my hometown of NYC and gave Ajisen a visit today. I found the broth (pork) very salty and the meat tough..alot of noodles and not much broth...they do say you can ask for clear..I did not realize it would be a milky color. In any case the bowl and spoon are lightweight cheap... More

What a place in the middle of Chinatown. There are so many restaurant but this one was just a blast. Been there twice during the last NYC trip, we enjoyed so much the simple ramen dishes offered and I really liked the spicy ramen beef that got that bit of spicy that's needed :-) Tried also the sushi roll, fresh... It is really famous in China, it is a little bit far away from China Town, but I went there several times with my friend in NYU, the Ramen is good, but more expensive than China.

This place is a little off the path in the floral district but find it, it'll be worth it. Great broth, the service was fine and very inexpensive. We tried 4 different soups and all were very tasty as well the dumplings were tasty. The ajisen spicy deluxe was my favorite. I'll definitely make the trip back there. Btw nice... More

A bit out of a way in Chinatown but I always come here everything I visit NYC. It's rather quiet place and service could have been more friendly and faster but whatever. At least, I enjoy the food and the quiet setting.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
