Our breakfast on Easter Sunday was wonderful. We had a nice view of Bryant Park out the window. Food and service was great.

It's old, but still really good. The crispy rice is worth it. The sushi is good quality. The restaurant is always loud, but that's part of the atmosphere. Have been many times -- good, solid place in Bryant Park.

The sushi is perfection. Fresh, delicious and interesting without being overly complicated. The restaurant is fun, festive, almost a club vibe but not so loud you can't have a conversation. Ask for a round booth near the back and linger over lots of courses. So fun!

We went last night and even though the service was good and the food quite good, we would never go back. It was impossible to have a conversation without shouting. The room has such a terrible acoustics, that the voices from the tables beside were covering up your own attempt to have a conversation.

Went there last night and although the atmosphere was quite buzzy and the staff very friendly and efficient it was horrendously expensive compared with London and the food was average. Had far better Sushi at home at literally a fraction of the price - $180 for two people with 2 glasses of champagne - very poor value for money. Had... More

This visit was about my 5th to Koi. Once again the food was a creative and delicious fusion of Japanese and European. My favourite restaurant in NYC, and I've tried many!

The restaurant is extremely noisy, expensive and you will probably be taken to your table late (even if you have reserved). So why I giving it a 5 star rating? Because you forget all the negatives when you taste the food which is HEAVENLY with excellent and quick service. Lovely presentation and many original dishes. I shall be coming back... More

This is a very shiek Japenese restaurant. The sushi was some of the freshest I have had. We enjoyed the crispy rice with tuna and yellowtail. Delicious. Wonderful cucumber sake! We will return.

Every time we've eaten there the food has been great and the service equally as good. Not cheap eats by any stretch but well worth the cost especially if you are going with a group

Description
Rich earth tones of orange, red and brown impart warmth to the cool and tranquil space. Thin tapestries of translucent rose fabric are embellished with flame motifs and suspended from the ceiling, creating a separate seating area perfect for a light bite near the large front windows. Famous for its unique and mouth-watering interpretation of Japanese cuisine. Upscale Japanese fare is given a jolt of new life through an innovative use of ingredients, resulting in refreshing and exciting flavor combinations. Crispy Rice with Spice Tuna, an addictive version of the classic spicy tuna roll, featuring warm grilled rice topped with a thick layer of cool, savory tuna. Baked Crab Roll, for which succulent fresh crab meat is wrapped in a thin rice paper dotted with sesame seeds and baked to perfection. Hamachi Fusion with Soy-Citrus and Truffle Essence all artfully plated by Koi’s skilled culinary team.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
