3rd visit but 1st for dinner. We had a reservation but still had to wait 20 mins for our table. NO apology from the matre d, before being shuffled into a corner table which was suitable for 1 person, not two. We was offered another, if we wanted to wait (after the initial 20 minutes!). Really?! Waitress was nice. Very... More

This gem of a restaurant was recommended to us by friends. After reading reviews, decided to try it. I will say it was not easy finding an available open reservation, which is often a good sign. We arrived for a 2PM table at 1:45 on Friday. The restaurant was packed with many waiting for tables. We were shown to our... More

The food was fantastic! Bar and wait staff so friendly. Octopus salad was the best we've ever had. Vanilla-lime glazed doughnuts were so decadent!

You don't have to be a celebrity to dine here, but you have a good chance of seeing one or two! This restaurant in the meatpacking district is well known by locals for its comfort food and good libations. There's a casual, relaxed atmosphere here because it's off the beaten path, and most of the patrons are locals. If you... More

Cookshop is my go to restaurant in West Chelsea for brunch or late night dinner. Brunch can get packed so I suggest reservations. Dinner as well, though they're open late which is nice. Food is very good. American with Mediterranean accents. Largest space with a bar area as well.

Its true what's been said. Besides their outstanding huevos rancheros prepared in the gorgeous open kitchen, we were pleased with the coffee, the friendly and attentive service, and everything that was put in front of us. Just... go.

Really tasty food, great service and a beautiful restaurant. We didn't have a reservation but didn't have to wait too long for a table and would recommend to anyone looking for a great lunch spot in the area.

I have eaten here twice. The service is very friendly but the food ranges from unremarkable to terrible. I went back a second time because friends had read about it and made the reservation. I asked the very friendly waitress for a recommendation so I would avoid the lousy food I had the first time. She said everyone loves the... More
