If you go, be prepared to spend between $90-$150 per person for a fair amount of sushi and saki. Food is outstanding. Sushi is prepared extremely well, it's flavorful and fresh. We ordered a variety of sushi dishes and each one was outstanding, especially the...More

I am solely talking about lunch this time. I have used this restaurant many times but didn't have a significant reason to post. I double confirmed this time, the lunch bento box 70$ (if my memory is correct) didn't worth the cost or having much....More

Very fresh and tender sushi, nicely presented in attractive setting. Very good service. Tables at booths are a tight squeeze and the leg under the tabletop is situated in the middle, at the edge of the tabletop making it difficult to contort ones feet to...More

Such a delicious sushi! Nobu 57 specializes in fish and seafood and they never disappoint. The staff is knowledgable about the menu and the service is good. The only disadvantage is the prices - this is an expensive place!

Seated promptly; service a bit slow. Wine ordered and quickly served. Four of us dined; 2 entrees came out first. Then a third. We enquired what had happened to the 4th and were told 5 more minutes. And then, after the others had finished their...More

I think that you never get disappointed by Nobu. The food is always amazing. The salmon tiradito is fantastic and the one with jalapeño too. The tartare is very good too! The black cod the spicy tenderloin and the sushi are so good. There are...More

Had family in town and suggested we go to Nobu for sushi. Its pricey but good. But really people just go for the scene. It's a cool restaurant and large. They serve late too. On a Monday people were still being seated near midnight. Food...More

We were in NYC for a quick trip on our way to the DR. My two teenage daughters had never been to the City so we packed it all in in less than 48 hours. We did Times Square, a Broadway Play, Grand Central Terminal,...More

Hi, there are other items such as tempura veggies, shrimp etc. their menu is on the website. Enjoy, it is a great place.
Hello, I'm vegetarian and planning on visiting next month on my honey moon, I see shrimp tempura on the lunch menu but not vegetable tempura, do you think they would be able to accommodate making some or are they very strict with the menu? Thank you!

The first uptown New York location by legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, opened to much anticipation in the summer of 2005. Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature New Style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno and Black Cod Miso, and new creations from the wood burning oven and the hibachi table.
