Good Service, Nice Atmosphere, Good (not great) food. The place is popping with activity and the ambiance is nice. It's perfect for lunch before theater (as we did) but get there when they open 11:30am. I think dinner pre-theater might be nice, too. Fantastic (lemon)ade drinks! Fresh exotic fruits make a nice non alcoholic drink, or they will add rum... More

So when visiting NYC I wanted to try some Cuban food, but couldn't get a reservation. Well we decided to go by and see how long a wait was. At first they said 45 mins which we were like "well" but then they came back and said they could seat us now. First it is really crowded and noisy in... More

Great Cuban food, great party atmosphere and very friendly wait staff. We especially enjoyed the plantains and shrimp dish.

While just off Time Square, Havana Central has a vibe like no other I found in NYC. The food was great and the Blackberry mojito is worth the trip alone! Great place to grab a quick bite solo or with a group.

Rainy night only made this lively resturant that much more enjoyable. Great atmosphere, plentiful selection from the drink and food menu and reasonably priced for the theater district .

Havana Central is one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to in New York City. It is fun, festive, and affordable. We went on a Friday night before seeing a Broadway show. We arrived around 5:30 P.M. There were five of us in our party. We did not wait long at all for the table. We had... More

We ate at Havana Central a few years ago with our children and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the experience. We recently took a weekend trip to New York with two other couples and I immediately thought of Havana Central! All six of us loved it! We had wonderful service, food and drinks! Highly recommend the Mojito...it was made... More

I don't usually give 5 stars but I love this place! The atmosphere was great with friendly staff and lovely hostess who explained the history of the restaurant and how the special dishes were prepared. I liked the originial art from 1920 and the band was great and really put everyone in the Latin mood. I liked it so much... More

I'm a huge fan of this place. Their food is great. No matter what I have it's always awesome. Their sangria is not that great but my husband raves about their mojitos. We've been here more times than I can count. It's always worth the trip. When we go into the city we think about trying a new place but... More

I'm glad we arrived early because we were able to get seated quickly. The food was amazing as were the desserts and the cafe con leche. The atmosphere was lively and our waiter was very attentive. It felt more like an experience than just a meal.

Havana Central evokes the 1950s golden era of Cuba, capturing Havana’s heyday as the world’s most tantalizing playground. Through its festive ambiance, vibrant décor and mouth-watering food, dining at Havana Central is like taking a mini vacation. The cocktail list includes the best Mojitos and Sangrias in New York; the wine list is filled with Latin American favorites. Havana Central Times Square opened in 2005, followed by Havana Central Upper West Side in 2007. Hours and menus vary by location.
