The location of Yuva is at a prime place in New York City. The ambiance of the restaurant was not up to the mark; so also the attitude of the staff. Furniture, fixtures and fittings were of Indian look. Tourists from India seems to their regular customers. The spread of veg and non veg varieties of food items at the... More

We live around the corner so have been going many years. For some reason it has been awhile until this evening. The food is still good but the service is just blah. One can barely understand what the waiter is saying and everyone is constantly calling over staff b/c they need more water, or a new drink, or more rice....no... More

If I could give a negative I would. I like their food but today I experienced bad service. I have been ordering from here for few years now just not in few months. I ordered lunch box (vegetarian & chicken curry). on yuvany.com website it shows $10 for both but was charged $13 for chicken curry. The guy is arguing... More

Having just arrive from Europe - we stumbled on this restaurante just next to our B&B on 58th street. We thought is was very mediokre as many of the dishes did not taste very much.... The service was a bit so-so although we were the only guests in the restaurantes. Far to pricey for what you get is my verdict.

Wonderful, fresh selections, a very pleasant atmosphere, good service and piping hot naan from the tandoori oven. Worth the walk from MOMA or other midtown places.

I've spent time in South Asia and I was craving some great palak paneer in NYC. I found Yuva and I'm so glad I did! I'm surprised it wasn't more crowded-just proof that trendiness isn't always key to quality. You get free pappadam with six (dips), we got a complimentary additional rice with great seasonings, the wine was an awesome... More

We went is since we had to waite on our landlords, not being there when we arrived from JFK. What a good guess. People were really nice, seated us and giving us good food. The restaurant has a nice more or less intimite atmosphere.

We were searching for a place to have lunch at around 3 PM when most of the places were closed. Fortunately this one was open. We ordered the Laccha Paratha and chicken Jalfrezi along with couple of Mango Lassis. The service took time and understandably so because we presented ourselves at an odd time. The Paratha came out flaky but... More

I had a nice, tasty yellow dhal and mint puratha for lunch. I ordered medium spicy, but I will ask for it a little spicier next time. The puratha was fluffy with a sufficient amount of mint

Owners Kedar Shah and Hritu Deepak have teamed up with Master Chef Dhandu Ram of the highly acclaimed restaurant “Bukhara” at the Maurya Sheraton in New Delhi, India to bring you the world famous Kebabs and Slow-Cooked dishes native to India’s frontiers. The restaurant is a tribute to India’s Open Fire Cooking where Chef Ram takes his patrons on a savory culinary tour of India that features specialties of his homeland bordering Afghanistan and Kashmir. Yes, the food is traditional frontier fare presented with New York flair, but the atmosphere is as far from the rugged rough and tough northwest frontier province as you can get! Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
