Amazing Korean food, great service and ambience. The chefs menu is very good value for the outstandingly tasty dishes. Would highly recommend.

This place is beautiful, well located and the service was excellent. Everything is served beautifully and it is quiet, so you can talk. I just do not care for Korean food...it was a little pricey, but portions were large. The scallion pancake was yummy. I also got the Bi Bim Bop with sizzling rice and it was a little bland...I... Good ambiance, friendly waiters. We sat at the bar and only chose from the small menu. Good place to go before theatre. Food was fine.

We went on a Saturday night with no reservation. The place was packed at 615pm. We had theater tickets for a show at 8pm so we were on a time crunch with 5 blocks south still to walk to the theater. We showed up and we sat in front of the open air kitchen, so you could see the chefs,... More

I love eating here. The experience of barbequing delicous steak/shrimp/chicken at the table, and making lettuce leaf sandwiches with all the fixings is great. All of the entrees and appetizers are delicious. The staff are all friendly and the ambiance is beautiful. You can actually hear your dinner mates speak, an infrequent occurrence at many restaurants.

Food was great. Service was nice. Came after matinee so wasn't crowded or overlooked. Nice ambience. Took family that was visiting & was enjoyed by all. Appetizers were more than sampled. We wound up ordering so much food, but so delicious!!!!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant once a month for a few years. What I noticed that with every visit the food gets worse. Last night was probably my last visit to Bann. Stay away from filet mignon it was tasteless. Beef tartar and tuna tartar were good. That’s why I’m giving 2 stars.

Lots to try. But, the best are: - steam buns (3 per order) - seafood pancake (watch it, it comes at 1000 degrees) - BBQ If you like spicy, also try Yook Ke Jeng soup.

Had dinner here with a large group of friends after reading some good reviews on this site. Frankly there were several aspects of our experience where we must disagree with these reviews. Pros: - Quality of main entrees was good; - Ambiance was clean and professional. Cons: - Appetizer dishes ( an accompanying must at all Korean BBQs) were small... More

Found this restaurant by accident over a late night, aimless walk in NYC -- was first attracted by the interiors first, then the menu. Was definitely a great find! Started the meal off with a scallop, shrimp and mushrooms entree. The plate was rather impressively served as a flambé -- baked in a scallop shell, set on a bed of... More
