Visit it at New Year night. This experience practically ruined my day! Food there was practically uneatable and the personnel seems perfectly aware about it and don't care. They are definitely preying on the tourists who will never come again anyway. Take someone there whom you hate, and it'll be very effective way to spoil his evening. Disgusting!

The hotel we were staying in suggested this place to us for breakfast. We enjoyed a mimosa and a bloody mary with our breakfasts. The breakfast plates are huge! We did not enjoy the hotel restaurant so we ate here most mornings and one time for lunch. The food was always good. The staff was a bit hurried however we... More

Dishes are big (to share) and there are a variety of food to choose. However, waiter's attention is horrible. They did not make any effort in the service, and the waiter tried to cheat us telling that the tip was mandatory minimum 20%. Because we are foreigners, they think that we don't know how it works. Not recommended

A diner atmosphere with booths and a counter. Seems to be busy every time we have visited. Had Western omelette for breakfast. Served with home fried potatoes and toast. A good choice. My wife had Eggs Benedict which she enjoyed. Coffee was good. Good service and friendly environment. Would recommend for breakfast or lunch.

Great little diner with the classic dinner counter and booths downstairs, and more seating with tables and chairs upstairs. Clean restaurant and nice staff. Great choice for breakfast, and a decent choice for soup or a sandwich for lunch or dinner after a long day of walking around the city (we did both breakfast and dinner due to convenience/proximity to... My daughter and I were shopping and walking on Black Friday at lunchtime and we looking for a place to eat that wouldn't be too expensive. After looking at the menu we decided to try the Palace. We got seated upstairs and our orders were taken promptly. I ordered the bison burger which came with cheddar cheese, half an avocado... More

A good choice for breakfast but not worth eating at for lunch or dinner. Frequented by a lot for the reasonable prices but most food I have tried is terribly greasy.

After an appointment in NYC, was looking for a place to eat that wasn't pricey. The service was good and the food (chicken souvlaki and a burger) was plentiful and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast is my favorite meal. I can eat breakfast morning noon and night. As someone on a gluten-free diet, breakfast also tends to be a fairly easy meal to find while traveling although it generally means eating more eggs than I usually do in one week. So, to find breakfast fare other than eggs over easy or an omelette is... More

We were greeted at the door by a friendly member of staff who seated us upstairs. The restaurant was busy with lunch trade and seemed to be occupied mainly by locals which tells you a lot. The food was of a good standard and we were all happy with our meals. Service was quick and it was also reasonably priced.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
