As usual our couriosity led us there. We were surprsed to see a nice room with a small Japanes garden outside. it felt like we... More

This place is authentic Japanese food. The best part is the Daily lunch specials. They are inexpensive, quick and tasty. I went with a business colleague from the west coast who loves Japanese food and even he was impressed at the authenticity. It is a little out of the way but if your in the area do not hesitate to... Close to Park Ave and Madison offices, with good dishes and a nice and welcoming atmosphere. Not cheap but not way too pricey. Very easy and comfortable if eating on your own. :-(

For dinner, we start with vegetable tempura, they are good, with the miso soup. Friends try the beef speciality, and me the fish. Plates are larges, like the bilt. In resume, we sould prefer less quantity but better quality, we didn't find the japanese taste in their plate. Service is not exceptionnal. We paid 200 USD for 3 with a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
