This is as good as it gets if you crave French Bistro food in NYC. Very relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. The cassoulet is not to be missed, start with the steak tartare or mussels. Reasonable wine list, mostly French, of course. Worth going out...More

The food and service here on our first visit were excellent but special notice has to be given to the policy of allowing each couple to bring a bottle of wine (except Saturdays) for which there is a $10 corkage fee. Given the outrageous prices...More

We were half disappointed with Le Sirene. My husband'S rack of lamb was so bad that my husband just pushed it away. When the waiter asked why it was not eaten , he told him that it was like boiled and no taste. He said,...More

Thought about having a romantic dinner for two at a restaurant with incredible food, great service, and not drop of pretentiousness in the atmosphere? La Sirene is that place. The diningroom is two frontrooms of two row houses and there are probably less than 50...More

Make no mistake, La Sirene is on the moderately expensive side. But it delivered outstanding French food that matched, if not exceeded, the top ranked midtown French places that have prices at least 60% and often over a 100% higher. The service was good, if...More

Can't really remember the wine cost, but it was in keeping with the rest of the meal. And the waiter went out of his way to recommend the most suitable wine rather than the most expensive, which we really appreciated.

Classic French Cuisine revisited on the new and healthy side. We do use as seasoning only the Himalayan Pink Salt ( doesn't cause harm for our heart) We use Induction technology and don't fry nor grill our Proteins. We care about you having the best we can offer! Didier ( chef owner)
