Smorgasbord is informal, not fancy but has fine Scandinavian food. Gravlax was excellent, as was the salmon burger. Our grandson demolished the meatballs. A great way to get energy for the LEGO exhibit upstairs.

Really enjoyed our meal here. The gravlax is delicious, seafood chowder very nice, and meatballs tasty, though a bit more pepper than I prefer. The desserts (princess cake and pear pie) were highlights. Pleasant space, decent service, recommend!

One of the only restaurants in NY that let our dogs sit with us on the balcony outdoors. Staff is always a bit overworked - but the farm to table food is excellent. Try the Swedish Meatballs with the Stockholm Martini. Super nice.

Small restaurant in the West Village tucked away on 12th Street with a focus on Scandinavian style. Unfortunately they were out of all the fish entrees, but the Swedish meatballs were very tasty and filling. The smorgasbord starter was excellent, and would be a good...More
