stopped in for lunch- sandwich rolls were heated until hard, BBQ was reminiscent of what you can get in a supermarket, Appetizer came as we finished our sandwiches. Food was just OK but staff were very friendly

Late reviewing this from last Feb when we visited, we had lovely meals while here had the chicken strips to start with and then had pulled pork burgers which were amazing couldn't complain at all. Waitress was lovely and friendly and kept checking we were okay. It was my 2nd visit to here as I had been the year before... More

Over an hour to be served, food was cold. When I complained they returned the same plate which had either had hot sauce poured on it or it was microwaved. When I said send it back again and don't bother replacing it, the manager said I wouldn't be charged as a gesture of good will.., really. Bad service, bad good.... More

I went to Southern Hospitality when it first opened and it was really good. We went with a group of co-workers when in NYC in January. The service was terrible, and the food mediocre at best. The have gone down hill in the past 5 years for sure.

Visited the restaurant on a Monday night. The place is very nice with a modern country feel. The appetizer we ordered was fried pickles. They were delicious, not sour or sweet but just right. Our two waitresses were really nice and provided much information on all items served. The bartender made delicious drinks. The food ... the food was amazing!... More

We we a little disappointed with the food. It's a fun casual place, drinks were good as were the apps and chilli, but the TN style fried chicken was tasteless and had very little meat! Unfortunately that was the case with most of the other meals our group had as well as the sides. Are server though was terrific!

This place was really good. Just has a good fun vibe. It is a little pricey, but the food was really good, and the pitchers overfloweth. Its owned by Mr. Timberlake, but if you didn't know that you wouldn't know that when you arrived. We knew, and talked to the waitress about it. She said he and Jessica are their... More

Visited here for lunch on our last day. We hadn't planned on going here, just came across it, and thought we'd give it a try. Glad that we did. The food was so tasty. I had the Cherrywood pulled smoked pork sandwich and my husband had the Black Pepper Bark Brisket sandwich. It was late lunchtime when we were there,... More

Advertised in the New York Pass brochure, we thought we would try it out. The table was awkwardly positioned, meaning we got barged everytime people walked past. The food came promptly, however, it wasn't that great. In fact it was probably the least favourable meal of our time in New York. On top of this, the restrooms were dirty, cramped... More

SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY is an authentic Memphis-Style BBQ restaurant and bar. We boast some of the finest southern food found this side of the Mason Dixon Line. We feature traditional specialties including Dry Rubbed BBQ Ribs, Sweet and Sticky Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Southern Fried Chicken, Fried Pickles, and Mac & Cheese that you'll never forget. Our Southern fare is complimented by juicy corn fed Steaks, grilled jumbo Gulf Shrimp with Rosemary Grits, and lighter fare like our Watercress and Praline Salad, and Grilled Salmon with Black Eyed Peas. In addition to our fine cuisine, we offer a full line of draft beers, an extensive list of sipping tequilas, and over 50 of the Country's finest Bourbons. World renown wine expert, Gary Vaynerchuk, has hand selected an eclectic wine list that pairs beautifully with our diverse menu.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
