Great flavour in all their meats!!! Favourite is the sausage and prime rib when available. Go for happy hour! Margaritas by the pitcher is not to be missed! Great sides as well - BBQ beans, collard greens, mac n cheese and the corn bread with maple butter!!!

The place is fun and reasonably priced. It's a great place to go with a large group. The brisket is juicy, flavorful and tender, but the rest is just above average. I don't care for their biscuits which has some kind of orange zest flavor to them. Overall, a worthwhile stop if you have a bbq craving in NYC. A... More

We visited here last night and found it to be something different. You ordered you food (meat) and it was wrapped in paper, just like your were buying food in a market. There was s real buzz and we had an excellent evening

We've had a family dinner before a concert in Baruch college in NYC. It's not a fancy place. But food is good. And it's not like any other dining experience. it's different. But service was not great. We had 3 waters and they all did not know what they were doing. Every time they approached our table they would ask... More

For some background, I'm from Texas and like to travel for all the best BBQ--not just in TX, but throughout the US. There is some amazing BBQ out there (except Memphis, I don't get it). So I was a little skeptical about a place touting itself as a top 10 BBQ in the states--in Brooklyn. It did not disappoint. The... More

It was ok. just ok. I can see if you are in NYC and crave some pulled pork that you would go here. I travel around the country and it is far below Tennessee or the Carolinas in terms of quality. Average at best. about the same as you would get in a chain. Service was ok, not too personable.... More

This place is SO good. Not only is the food amazingly good, the staff are a delight, the drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is so friendly. The burnt ends, brisket and pork ribs were something I'll dream about till I go back. The service was excellent. Can't say enough good things about this place. Loved it.

We have been in several restaurants all around the world the last years but this restaurant is one of the best one we visited so far. The service, food and music was great. I'll definitely come back next time we are in NYC. You should give this restaurant/bar a try when you are in the area

If you long for music based solely on 3 chords and company that thinks drinking a Lone Star is macho this is your place. If you have taste for food drink and music go almost anywhere else in NYC

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
