We had breakfast here most mornings during a week's stay in New York. There's a good selection of pastries, bagels, hot sandwiches, yogurts, fresh fruit, coffees and juices. Service is quick and everything is fresh. There are many Pret A Mangers in the city, but this one has more seating than any others we came across. The only downside is... More

Even though it was busy, the service was quick and the staff helpful. The fresh juices, I had the grapefruit are really good and good value for money.

These restaurants are all over NYC. We ate at 2 different locations near Times Square, which serve the same food, but have different seating capabilities. The food is made fresh every day and the left overs are donated to charity every night, which made us happy. They have pastries, organic coffee, vegan sandwiches, regular sandwiches, as well as salads for... More

Had a quick breakfast and some coffee, was surprised how cheap it was on comparison to other eateries. Breakfast including water, coffee, and a breakfast brioche bun only cost 8 bucks. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick cheap eat in the area

Had never heard of this place, now I am obsessed! I was in NYC and did not want to fill up on pizza, bagels adn cannoli. This restaurant has items for all budgets, fresh fruit, bowls with quinoa and veggies, hummus and pita, vegetarian and non-veg options galore. Fresh pressed juices, muffins and brownies you can grab and go. Great... More

Went here last night for a quick dinner. It was ok. I had a ham and egg salad sandwich and my husband got a chicken wrap, both of which were pre-made. It wasn't gourmet, but we knew that going in. We went in because it was convenient and we were starving. The gal behind the counter was friendly and made... More

This place is great for a quick easy hot or cold breakfast lunch or snack. I saw the staff constantly restocking the shelves so the variety was constant. I had a bacon and egg in brioche that was perfect and inexpensive.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
