Family-owned since 1946, this is an American cafe ( with beer available) and well known locally for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Service was fast and friendly and the food was very good.

Flies everywhere, food and service were average. Ordered the Chicken salad sandwich and it was bland. Hubby ordered a burger and it was good.
We stopped here for a late breakfast on Monday AM after visiting for Colorfest. Place was unassuming and reasonably priced. Waitress was very sweet. I got egg and sausage with home fries while DH had cheese and sausage omelette. Both were large portions and served hot. Coffee was good and refilled as desired. Others had oatmeal and pancakes. Sweet tea... More
Had this place to myself on a Sunday morning. Service was friendly and attentive (how could it not have been?). The coffee was just okay, but decent enough I suppose for the price. I had a big breakfast consisting of eggs, country ham, home fries (w. sausage gravy) and french toast. The food was good, although the french toast could... More
Our family of four had a great lunch here today. We ordered fried chicken, a Reuben sandwich, a couple burgers, hot dog, & potato salad. Everything was fresh & delicious. Fresh ground beef, & if you like turkey they also get that fresh from a local farm & roast it on site. Friendly service, clean, & reasonably priced.
Coming back from Antietam to Gettysburg too late to cook. Almost went fast food but checked trip advisor to see we were across the street from this family restaurant. So glad we choose bollingers. My wife had the smoked brisket which was fantastic. My son had wings, also very good. I had the pork chops, just what I wanted. Sampled... More
We had two little kids and four adults stop by to eat. I had heard it was THE best place in the area for breakfasts but this was dinnertime. I had no idea whether it was fancy or what to expect. Turned out to be perfect for us. They had a kids menu, I think all for under $5 or... More
Bollinger's is our "go to" spot whenever plans go awry. With young active kids this happens quite often. They have a staple of items on the menu that simply cant be beat for the price. Check out the burger's, the patty melt as well as the JB Chicken sandwich! Josh does a great job with smoking meat so anytime you... More
Have had breakfast, lunch, & dinner here. Family style with good lunch & dinner. I think the dining room is cozy. I don't think it would accommodate large groups very well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking somewhat limited.
