Wood paneled and clubby, Capital Bar and Grill is a sophisticated drinking spot. The proof? When my wife asked if the French apple brandy Calvados was available the server offered a choice of labels. You don't find that just anywhere.

Located in The Capital Hotel, we ended up here after a show. Unique munchies and drinks..tried an artisan cheese tray..took carrot cake to go back to our room and it was AWESOME! Pricey, $12 for a white russian and $16 for the cheese tray, but a nice splurge.

As one of the supposed finer places to find to eat in Little Rock this was disappointing. It's a decent hotel bar with a menu that looks promising. I had a salad that was ok, entree was catfish that was way over salted which was a theme. I substituted fries for the potatoes and the heavy salt hand struck again.... More

Great southern food! Great service! I'm not much of a drinker, but looked like they have a great cocktails menu! Very accommodating to kids, families and walk ins. One downside...the male hostess has a bit of a clippy attitude, but nothing horrible. It was a bit obvious though when everyone else we had met so far in LR was painstakingly... More

Had a working dinner with multiple persons. The staff was very accommodating. The service was spot on and the food tasty. Try the pimento cheese if you go. I will definitely go back if I am every in Little Rock.

A colleague and I came here for dinner on a weeknight. First, it was difficult to get a host to seat us. Once seated, the service was fine. I ordered the trout....it was not good at all. Very thin, and it had an aftertaste that tasted like heavily treated municipal water. We were headed to an appointment after dinner, so... More

I visit LR often and as a business traveler eat here every trip just about. The food is very good, service usually quite good, and the ambiance is appropriately casual. Adding one or two specials would really help the limited menu appeal to those of us who frequent regularly. Also, weirdly, the restaurant has Fox News on all the time... More

We stopped here after the Phantom of the Opera for drinks and a late night snack. The bar was packed but service was FAST!! The fried black eyed peas were a great snack before the Cuban sandwich which was pretty good too. Served with just the right amount of fries. The iced tea was some of the best I've ever... More

Great place to catch some dinner or have drinks with friends if you are visiting the downtown area. It is a bit on the pricey side but defiantly worth it. There were about 8 in our party and no one was disappointed in their meal. I ordered the Cobb Salad which was excellent, the catfish is also good as well.... More

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon after touring the state capital building. The business and ladies lunch crowd was thinning out so the place was not overly crowded, and we were seated immediately at the bar as we requested. We enjoyed talking with the bartender who was attentive and efficient. He made a perfect Manhattan. We had a ham... More
