When you've ventured into Northern Ventura County you can still find a great deli experience at Danny's. The matzoball soup is delicious, the chopped liver is authentic, the brisket melts in your mouth and the potato pancakes are served with applesauce and sour cream...both! The service is familial and the food tastes homemade. What more do you need!

We came in for breakfast and were very pleased. We hit it right at the right time and received a great parking spot and walked right into be seated. I ordered the eggs benedict which was good, but nothing spectacular. My husband had an omelette; which he enjoyed. Next time we come, it will definitely be for lunch. There were... More

My wife found this place because she knows of my passion for Pastrami. We ordered our food to go so we could sit at the beach and enjoy a meal ocean front. The food arrived quickly and we were on our way. They have a large sit down restaurant for those that wish to eat in. The onion rings were... More

We've been trying to eat at Danny's three separate times and couldn't. Being from NYC and disabled, each time we came there, there was no place open to park -- even the one Disabled Parking space was taken. After hearing of its "authentic New York Deli" food (which we miss), we couldn't find a place to park in its very... More

I visited this restaurant after not having been there for many years. It was delicious. I ordered a side of hashbrowns and a short stack. The food was prepared perfectly and the service can't be beat. Very friendly staff and attentive.

The foods are very filling so beware. The Onion String looks very good. We will have to order next time. The wait staff is very friendly and the food is very reasonably priced. Will absolutely come back again. Oh, the pickles are free!

My second visit to Danny's with my boyfriend in tow. It was one of those Sunday outings where we were in the neighborhood for a late lunch. One thing this deli does not lack is enthusiasm from the wait staff. Though there was a brief wait, once seated it was not long before someone came to take our drink order.... More

I've had the reuben sandwich countless times and have never been disappointed. Friendly, quick service along with delicious food in a clean, welcoming atmosphere makes this a great spot for lunch.
