An awesome steak in a very traditional setting. If you are serious about steak this is the must-visit place in Dayton. Good service and a great selection of good steaks cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit

The steak is good and the service OK. It is locally owned and a unique dining experience. Convenient to downtown but I prefer the food, service and atmosphere at Coco's Bistro, just down the street

Don't even look further than the bone-in ribeye. It's the best you will ever have. The ambiance of the place is in the fact that they don't take reservations, and even President Bush (the first) had to wait 35 minutes for a table. You don't come here if you don't love steak. They take cash, only, so don't plan on... More

Known for years as the best steak in our area - the Pine Club is a most eat if you are in the area (celebrating or just looking for good quality food!). JUST NOTE: They only take cash - so the cards are not going to work for you here.

Lots of comments here about the servers and the customer service being poor, and overall they're right. Staff is not overly friendly there, so if you're looking for someone to make you feel good, don't come here. Just go there knowing that, and let the food and the ambience make you feel good. Steak is superior. Sides are delicious. Bread... More

I really enjoyed our meal. I got the bone in ribeye which was fabulous, sides weren't anything special, however the ambiance, service were all fantastic. They don't take reservations or cash. My son really enjoyed sitting where Vice President Bush sat

We visited here for dinner on a week night and were seated immediately. The full bar kind of dominates the place. There might be seating for 100 to 150. Four-top tables are let's say "cozy" --- meaning your elbows will be in constant contact. It's a steakhouse, so we all ordered the bone-in ribeye. I'd say they were 10 to... More

I love the Pine Club but last night was the worst service I have had anywhere in the past couple of years. The food was great as usual and I was there for highly sentimental reasons which amplified the poor attitude of the woman who served us because it somewhat spoiled a special night. The place was crowded and I... More

While it's a bummer to fight the crowd at a place that doesn't take reservations, the meal is worth it. The Pine Club is an old school steakhouse in every sense: cash only, no reservations, only open for dinner, dark paneled. Go there with the expectation to wait an hour or more. The cocktail staff will take great care of... More

Very retro place...as name indicates..all done in pine. Steaks, potatoes and breads are great. The special salad dressing is outstanding. Cash only and no deserts...owner bought next door Baskin & Robins so you can get desert there!!!! Definitely a place to return to...
