My partner and I have been coming here for years and love THE CAFE. The service is excellent, and the food is consistently very good. Their Thai dishes are the best in the region. Also, the home made desserts are outstanding. Yes, I wish they would change up their menu a bit and offer a few surprising specials, but everyone... More

Old Victorian home is the right setting as an elegnt surround for a superb dining experience. Slow paced service allows plenty of conversation time and the surrounding hum of guests is not intrusive. Meals weer delightfully presented and delicious.

The food is delicious..I had the chicken and it is out of this world. There was a pumpkin soup that was fantastic too. The portions have gotten smaller( chcken was smaller and not many potatoes on the plate) and you do not get the salad with your meal. It is expensive for what you get but the taste is very good.... I have been here twice for lunch. The ambiance is excellent. The food, not so much. The first time i had the Pad Thai. No taste. The second time I had the Red Curry Chicken. Exceedingly small portion and again no taste. It is fine as a non-challenging lunch with new business associates (or something similar) but nothing more.

Went to dinner on a Saturday evening with another couple. I had never tried the mushroom soup there...excellent! Very complex flavors. As much as I love trying new things, I always end up ordering their Pad Thai. I just love it! A lovely little place that's nice and quiet so you can enjoy your company, excellent service, been going there... More

Even though I have lived in the area my entire life, this was my first visit to The Cafe. I would describe the decor and the atmosphere as Victorian. The restaurant is in what appears to be an old mansion. It is beautifully decorated to the style of the mansion. The staff made us feel special! The food was delicious... More

This excellent restaurant is housed in a restored home. We were seated in a very quiet area. The menu was Asian-fusion. I has a tasty spicy shrimp soup appetizer and a delicious lamb chop curry, which was one of the specials. My colleague remarked that his filet mignon was delicious. Service was very attentive. Highly recommended.

The food was fantastic. It was a warm evening and was sitting outside so I started with a cold blueberry soup--I could have had this for dessert too (if I hadn't overeaten). For my entree I could not find something on the menu so I basically told the staff what my taste buds were in the mood for and the... More

This is a very nice restaurant, about two blocks outside of the city center. It is well worth the walk, or they have a small parking lot behind the place. The food is always very good, all homemade and the ambience is quite nice too. All the appetizers salads and dinners are delicious, their desserts are killer! I always look... More

Went to The Cafe for lunch today and it was another wonderful meal there. Started off with fantastic brioche bread. Hubby had the wonton soup and it was one of the best he'd every had; full of wontons and veggies. It came with a tasty chicken salad sandwich. I had Pad Thai and it was delicious. Then of course we... More
