The Sierra Sunrise is my go to here. We've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the years. Currently, open daily for breakfast and lunch only.

This restaurant is small, but very quaint. It draws both local and tourist people in. The food is excellent, which is served in large portions. The wait staff is attentive, hardworking, and friendly. Our favorite breakfast restaurant in Mammoth. Just be aware that the waits for a table can be long, but it's worth the wait. We enjoy it. Give... More

Great place for breakfast - but bring your appetite - the meals are not small. Great old school food options.

We always go to the Stove for breakfast when we visit. Their food is good and the building and decor are homey. The portions are enough to share. If you order ham and eggs, you will receive a wonderful large slice of ham. They have large tables for families and the service is great.

Order the French Dip sandwich! It's amazing! Honestly the best thing I've eaten in a long time! The staff are attentive and the restaurant is cosy. You can't go wrong!

Always a good filling meal at the stove. This place is a locals favorite for a good reason the food is good. Have been for lunch as well but breakfast is better.

I never miss an opportunity to stop at the Stove when we are in Mammoth. I always order the Huevos Rancheros, but my husband had the Th special this time which was a Prime Rib Sandwich this trip and it was so good I might have to have that next time! There is often a long line, but its worth... More

The Stove represents the "original Mammoth" - - unpretentious and simple "comfort food" at reasonable prices (especially with the daily specials), frequented by a lot of "regulars" from the local community. Fast and very good service, quaint homey decor. The fresh-baked pies looked great, but we were there Jan. 2 and on the 2nd day of our new year diets!

Haven't eaten here in 9 years but it was so good the first time I remembered this place and wanted to go back 9 years later. The food again was amazing, from the omelettes to the pancakes you can't go wrong, the breakfast potatoes are some of the best you will find!

Thank Mark P
