When I told some friends that I was visiting Philadelphia everyone said that I had to visit Tommy DiNic's in Reading Terminal Market. After a morning wandering around the tourist attractions I ended up at the Market. Maybe it was fate, but one of the first places I saw was DiNic's - it was very busy but there was a... More

First time to Philly and was told the roast pork sandwich was the city's original sandwich. While at Reading Market, tried the roast pork sandwich at Dinic's. Wow...it was absolutely delicious. Fresh, tender, recently roasted pork in a fresh bun. I added sharp provolone and banana peppers. What a combination... it was very good. If this is your first time,... More

Great sandwiches at the Reading Terminal Market. I recommend getting the broccoli rabe topping. It is worth the wait.

The pork sub with all the fixings us so good, that I brought 4 home for the family. If you're concerned with a calorie bang for your diet, definitely eat this instead of a cheese steak...authentic Philly with half the calories...check it out on my fitness pal...

In case you don't know the sandwich is huge. Very flavorful and if it's not enough flavor there is horseradish and banana peppers on the counter to kick it up. They ran out yesterday so we came for breakfast today.

Great atmosphere and a fun vibe. Big portion, a sandwich is enough for 2 easily. Follow it up with an Amish donut and you will be a happy camper!!

When we went, I had a friend from out of town. I had wanted the pulled pork, but it was late in the day and they were out, so we "settled" for the roast beef -- the thing melted in your mouth, literally. It was a killer sandwich. I ordered it with sharp cheese and the greens, fyi.

Try the roast pork or the Italian shredded pork with provolone and greens (broccoli rabe). The line will look long but they are surprisingly efficient and it will only take 15 minutes

Overrated barely begins to describe this sandwich. The pork, though tender, has no flavor. The broccoli rabe takes away from the sandwich. It is mushy and has a strong earthy flavor. The sharp provolone was the only saving grace. Definitely not the best sandwich in America.
