Del Friskos was not in my food list visiting Philadelphia due the fact it is a chain. Found it while walking outside. The place is super beeing an old bank. The restaurant serves aprox 300 people in three floors. The best is the -1 where is the supe door of the vault. The resturant is noicy for business dinners, but... More

As you would expect the filet is spectacular, service is top notch and the desserts are ridiculously decadent. The private dining area is actually a bank vault and it has great history and atmosphere.

Six of us came out of the suburbs to downtown Philly looking for an amazing steak. I've had the privilege of eating in some of the best steak houses across the US. This is not my first trip to Del Frisco's, I've been in the one in Chicago and one in New York. The steakhouse was the best I've been... More

Our business threesome met for dinner here. Being from out of town, we had not visited before. But, this old bank building is hugely impressive. To say that it is massive does not do it justice. The interior must be about 3 stories high and lined with 6 foot in diameter columns. As for dinner, we were seated on time.... More

Wow!! The food is fabulous, and the building inside is breath taking . It was once the first Bank of Pa. The renovation has been well done. I thought I was in Paris . I had the special 3 filets each 2 oz. and each with special topping. My favorite was the feta cheese topping. There was 6 of us... More

Family of ten seated and served promptly. Most steaks are 16 ounces (a filet is 8) with one extremely large one. pricesd range around $40 for an entree. Steaks are well aged and tender. Everything else is a side order and extra.

We had my birthday lunch at the bar at Del Frisco's. Melony was or bartender and server. Excellent service and the Filet I ordered was perfectly prepared Pittsburgh style-medium rare! They also surprised us with a lovely Happy Birthday dessert!

everything we ordered was very good and they were patient with questions. on the pricey side but good for a fancy date night or if you are on a generous expense account- the latter seems to be most of their business. lovely decor, check out the vault downstairs

Kudos to the interior which is not only breathtakingly beautiful but which gets extra credit for repurposing a beautiful & historic bank lobby that might have been bulldozed otherwise. I'm from Chicago and picky about my steaks, but even though I ordered a 12 ounce fillet medium rare (hard to do without butterflying) they TOTALLY nailed it and the steak... More
