Stopped for a drink at the outdoor (garden bar) before dinner. We were there at opening and they fill the seats quickly. We shared a few glasses of Rose which were perfect for the Spring afternoon. Excellent bar staff.

We went for dinner and sat on the garden, beautiful. The menu is extensive and everything was great, specially the goat cheese ravioli.

Lovely dinner. Charming restaurant in center of city. Wait staff extremely attentive to detail. Water glasses kept full, but we never felt that staff members were hovering. Server knew the menu extremely well, had good recommendations on the cheeses. Also helped us on portion sizes...More

The fare is pricey, but if you can afford it, it's outstanding. From the cheeseboard and curried potato croquettes to start, gnocchi and Zinfandel port to finish, there was no disappointment.

Description
Behind the wrought iron gate, past the herbaceous patio and through the atrium is Talula's Garden, the warm and elegant Washington Square eatery from Aimee Olexy and Starr Restaurants. The modern menu, prepared with carefully-sourced ingredients and a light European touch, changes with the seasons. The artful cuisine, hospitable staff, sustainable spirits, and a focus on cheese make the dining experience here incredibly memorable.
