Where to begin? I was called twice to confirm my reservation, Our table was maybe 18 inches from tables on either side. I could have easily particiated in 3 conversations. The wait staff is progammed to upsell at every turn, it's really obnoxious. But worst...More

We enjoyed a lovely brunch indoors during an early October heat wave. The atmosphere was warm and airy and each room was eclectically decorated. Our omelets and salads were excellent and though the menu didn’t have any strict vegan items, the kitchen quickly created a...More

My husband and son had eaten elsewhere earlier so I was the only hungry person. I hesitated to enter such an establishment with me being the only one who’d order food. My husband convinced me to go and suggested sitting at the bar. The bartender...More

I was in charge of choosing the restaurant. Therefore, i looked up farm to table restaurants downtown. This restaurant was the first to appear with excellent reviews. Reservations were slim so the 5:15 time slot worked. The outdoor seating was so refreshing after a long...More

Talula's Garden remains one of the best restaurants in Philly. This restaurant combines some great features, a lovely setting, amazing food, and great service. Reading the menu only gives a hint of the cuisine. Unlike many "fine dining" spots around the city, the execution of...More

Great service and the food, wow it was really good. I would definitely recommend this place if you want something good to eat. You should make reservations in time because they are quite busy.

This was a garden restaurant with beautiful outdoor seating or attractive indoor tables. Our waiter was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The charcuterie platter was TO DIE FOR. Their cheese selection was outstanding. We enjoyed everything. A little pricey but well worth it.

A fantastic restaurant with great food, drinks, service and setting. We sat outside & it was perfect. Great area for conversation without excess noise, comfortable seating (not squeezed too tightly).

My wife and I were seated immediately inside at our reserved time, but would have had a 25-minute wait to be seated in the garden area. Inside was noisy, exacerbated by lousy and unnecessary music leaking into the dining room from the bar. Customers are...More

Description
Behind the wrought iron gate, past the herbaceous patio and through the atrium is Talula's Garden, the warm and elegant Washington Square eatery from Aimee Olexy and Starr Restaurants. The modern menu, prepared with carefully-sourced ingredients and a light European touch, changes with the seasons. The artful cuisine, hospitable staff, sustainable spirits, and a focus on cheese make the dining experience here incredibly memorable.
