I work in Center City and My coworkers and I have been to Vango a few times. Drinks are a little pricey and the food is ok.

Beautiful place first floor and rooftop area. Drinks were like any typical center city location. Great music and mixed crowd. Just how we like it.

A friend recommended this place for drinks and just to hang out. You have to walk up a steep staircase to the restaurant level. Once up there it's a big open space with tables all along one wall to the right and a bar to the left. If you want to listen to music you have to "rent" a pair... More

A couple of co-workers and I visited after work on a Tuesday. It was 930pm and we were asked to pay a $10 cover. Confused as to why, but okay. We go in and it is dead. We asked inside about the cover charge and was told it was for the entertainment, a fashion show. We asked about the roof... More

The bartender was rude, the bathrooms were dirty with no toilet paper, and the rooftop was awful. We didn't even want to sit on the furniture on the rooftop because it looked so disgusting. We went for happy hour and the drinks that were included for happy hour were so limited, it was a complete waste of time and money.

The rooftop space is nice, with couches and big pillows. Unfortunately it was raining when we went so there wasn't a lot going on out there. I would have liked to go back on a nicer night and check out the roof but we didn't make it back. Drinks were reasonably priced. Music was good. We went on a wednesday... More

I've been to Vango about four-five times. I recommend going once to see if its your style. Its a nice spot for a bar and for the roof-top experience. Prices are along the mid-range level.

I don't know how a place with such potential can deliver so poorly. Went there for dinner around 8 and we were the only people in the place. We were trying to determine if we wanted to eat inside or on the roof but the bartender told us we had to purchase a drink just to LOOK at the roof.... More

I was very surprised that they served food so late at night and that was awesome. The music was great and so was the service.
