This is a large, well run casual restaurant. Food was very good. The way to order and pay was a little confusing for us newcomers, but well worth it, except the soda, which seemed high to me. Half sandwich and soup was excellent and adequate.

A great little place to start your day off with. Bacon and Cheddar panini is a personal recommendation! Don't forget the excellent capuccino to go along with that :D

One can always get a good cup of soup and sandwich here. Very convenient to the university of Pennsylvania area.

Stopped here on a Sunday morning on our way to the Liberty Hall area from our hotel in Rittenhouse Square. At first glance it looked like a place where someone seats you and takes your order from the table, but you have to go up to the counter to order. I ordered the Anaheim panini and found it good, if... More

We stopped here on our way back to our hotel for lunch. My husband had the large chopped salad and I had the small Asian won ton salad. Both were LOTS of food and fresh. I was really pleasantly surprised at how great the food was for what appeared to be a fast food joint. Lots of food options from... More

Helping son move into apartment in Philly, time for a late lunch. Not that crowded, but had to wait to give order. Usual sandwiches and drinks. Nothing that great, but thought the soup was good. Interesting concept, but hard to order without a look at a menu. Service was good and staff helpful and pleasant. Worth a try, see what... More

This was my first time at a Corner Bakery Cafe (It's a chain.), I was unsure of what to do, there were no signs with instructions, and no worker was greeting and giving directions, nor did any worker notice my confusion, and try to help. I ended up asking another patron how it worked. It turns out that you go... More

No gluten free snacks. Very impersonal. Asked for directions and staff pointed us in incorrect direction!

I have a restricted diet but can eat oatmeal for breakfast. This pleasant bakery/café does a good range of oatmeal so we went every morning for breakfast of our six night stay in Philly. The highlight for me was the Swiss oats which I am going to try to make at home although I cannot serve it with the lovely... More
