Definitely go in a group and taste all the little bites, tons of craft beers, open space, active bar scene makes for an upbeat time leaving you feel good about going out. Don't sit home GO! DJ

Went to stateside with my wife for happy hour. They have half price all draft beer and their craft selection is extensive. Their food is "American tapas" style with mostly small plates which are easy to share. Pretty much everything we ate was delicious. Best of all, happy hour goes until 7 on all week days. If you find yourself... More

Here as part of a group. The food was wonderful and primed for sharing with lots of variety. The sharing is key. All sorts meat or veg variety. Local and domestic beer is well represented and well crafted cocktails.

We stopped in this restaurant on a Monday night when most of the nearby restaurants were closed. They only have appetizers and small plates. The food in the small plates tasted good but the prices were too high for the quantity of food given.

We let the bartender select our whiskey and vermouth. Each of the four of us were VERY pleased with the result. This is THE place to drink whiskey in South Philly.

When the weather is good, you can actually seat yourself at the bar while sitting outside. The whiskey selection is good, although they didn't have Pappy. They did, however have a very solid happy hour Old Fashioned for around $6. We didn't try the food, but it looked good. I'd recommend Stateside, especially if you're staying in the neighborhood.

Enjoyed everything we ordered. The menu is small plates entrees that are fun to share. Especially liked the octopus and the pork belly. The tap beer selection is very nice, especially when you get there for happy hour when they are half priced. The bar/dining area is small so it is VERY loud and hard to have a conversation. Everyone... More

I live right around the corner from here and have never been there. Shame on me- cool spot with great "small plate"appetizers -the fried brussel sprouts were delicious😉also, one of the most delicious Moscow Mules I have ever had. Great and friendly staff. Will be revisiting soon.

What a terrific menu - drinks and food. I love this place. Parking can be a challenge, but if you want the near perfect experience from a food quality and ambiance perspective I highly recommend. My group of four shares 7-8 plates tapas style. We all ordered some bourbon/rye drinks and we also went for a reasonable bottle of wine.... More

Nice little place for a drink or snack but not dinner. They have a large selection of craft beer and whiskeys and serve small plates which are the smallest I ever encountered. Went there with my wife, son and daughter and their spouses and ordered an average of 3 plates each what I thought was a decent amount of food.... More
