Found this wonderful and casual spot as we walked around near Independence Mall. The eggplant and garlic sauce dish was so tasty I might order it twice when dining with 3 or 4. Our second order, Mango Shrimp in a sweet and sour sauce, was bursting with flavor from fresh vegetables and a citrus note, but it was a bit... More

We needed to grab a quick meal before our flight and stepped into Wong Wong because it was the only restaurant open at 10 am on Saturday. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious roasted duck wonton soup! We have eaten Chinese food all over the world and have to admit that the duck and wontons were some of the... More

In search of a quick lunch in Philadelphia's Chinatown, we happened on Wong Wong. We were greeted and seated immediately, and the attentive server brought tea, water and the voluminous menu--which had something for every taste. Opted for the wonton noodle soup with sliced pork, which proved to be enormous and excellent, with aromatic broth, a hefty portion of wontons... More

Great food, great prices. Imperial Inn has nothing on Wong Wong. Down the street from Hello Kitty emporium which was our next stop. Have fun!

I love Peking duck. And this place delivers! And for an amazingly affordable price. Also enjoyed a duck appetizer. Equally good. As a novel twist, the Peking duck was served with buns as opposed to the traditional pancakes. Kudos! Relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. A couple of blocks off Chinatown’s main street, but well worth walking the... More

We have eaten here many times and the staff makes you feel like family. They remember what you like to eat/drink. Convenient location in Chinatown. Wenky He, manager, goes out of her way to be sure you enjoy your meal. The Peking Duck is wonderful--great flavor and not greasy. The grouper is cooked so delicately that it melts in your... More

My big koala bear and I stumbled on this place while exploring Chinatown. It is on the corner intersection between the two most busy streets of Chinatown. We really love this place because of the large windows so we can see outside the people. The interior decor is simple but homey with yellow walls, black metal chairs and green seats.... More

Every time we came to Philly Chinatown we had visited Wong Wong. It is still decent with a nice staff, but I found that the food could be a hit or a miss depending on what you ordered. This time we had dinner and ordered the specials that were posted on the wall (in Chinese). We ordered an eel in... More

Before I continue with my review of Wong Wong: Chinese Restuarant, I just wanted to point out that I have eaten here numerous times. Wong Wong is conveniently located at the center of Chinatown and offers some of the more generic Chinese cuisines located here in Philadelphia. It's intimate atmosphere, large course selection and select wait of staff is what... More

Fir dinner we choose to give it a try to Wong Wong restaurant and we couldn't be more satisfied! We ordered roast duck, honey roast pork, general tso chicken and mix chineese greens with garlic sauce. We enjoyed everything but my special compliment to the roast duck!
