We loved walking through Chinatown and decided to stop for ramen. We walked in and it is a tiny little place. It was also very hot in there. We waited outside until they had a table ready for us. Once we ordered our food came out pretty fast. Also, I asked for a fork because I didn't know how to... More

Stopped here for a dinner with 5 friends on a Saturday evening. We were seated quickly as the hostess offered to seat us at the bar so we could all stay together. Food was excellent--simple, but reminded me very much of the food I had during my stay in Tokyo. Will definitely return if I'm in the area!!

I had traditional ramen with minced chicken and bean sprouts. It was deliciously filling and wonderful. The place is clean, organized, and well-run. No wonder there was a line!

We stopped on for a late lunch about 2pm on a Monday and were immediately seated. The wait staff was very friendly. We each ordered a different ramen bowl, and we all were very pleased with our choices. The ramen bowls were huge, and my daughter and could not finish ours, but my husband and son finished theirs. The broth... More

I had chicken with traditional Japanese curry sauce, my husband had ramen. We both really enjoyed the food and the service. Would definitely go there again to try other dishes. The place is small, but it doesn't take away from the experience because the staff is efficient and fast. I would recommend it to my friends for a quick delicious... More

Four of us went to Tetakawa Ramen last Saturday night at 530 before the movies. There was already a line waiting ahead of us, but we have our names to the forceful young hostess and she accurately predicted a wait of under 15 minutes. We were pleased to find that the noise level was quite mild considering how crowded it... More

There was a 25 minute wait for our table last weekend at Terakawa, but it was completely worth it. There's a certain awkwardness of being crammed into a tiny vestibule with hungry strangers with waitstaff dancing trays of hot soup through the crowded restaurant. I had the Terakawa Ramen. I usually don't finish the broth in any broth soup, this... More

Call me ignorant, but Philadelphia didn't seem like the type of city to have a vibrant Chinatown. I was proven wrong. During a day trip to Philadelphia, I stopped by Terakawa Ramen for a hearty lunch. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the signature ramen noodle bowl, and it satisfied me totally. The portion was generous, the noodles tender, the broth... More
