Wonderful ambiance for a romantic dinner or just a classy girls night out. We went for my birthday and it was just amazing! The food is so flavorful and the service was wonderful as well. Definitely hope to be back!

Went there on a Saturday night which is always a busy time in Philadelphia. We expected a good experience as this restaurant is part of the Starr Restaurant group. The food was delicious and served with great presentation. Our group had lechon asado, octopus and extra to stones. Service was slow and hard to get waitstaff attention however they were... More

This was a lovely restaurant with beautiful food. We were made to feel externally welcome and looked after. I have been to Cuba and I would not say the food was authentically Cuban but it was still lovely. If I went back to Philadelphia I would happily go back for another visit

We went during Restaurant Week and Alma de Cuba was quite busy for a weeknight. We ordered from the prix fixe menu, of which all the appetizers were quite good (we were a party of 2 couples). The entrees were quite a disappointment - for such a prestigious event where restaurants (one would think) are featuring some of their best... More

Our fourth pleasurable visit to this authentic-feel Cuban/American refuge in the midst of Center City's business and retail core. Ask for a table on the cozy first floor,--near the action:couples, singles, and after-work colleagues, winding down. Animated, but not too noisy. (Beware: the steep trips to the THIRD FLOOR rest rooms are cruel! Ask to use the private employees' facility, secretly... More

I visited this restaurant for the first time last night as part of Philly's Restaurant Week. There were 6 of us in total. We had a reservation and arrived a little early and so we sat in the bar for a little while and ordered drinks. The drinks were all perfect! We moved to our table when it was ready.... More

My sister visited Alma de Cuba, one of our favorite restaurants, after being away for over a year. Thankfully, the service, food, and drinks was just as wonderful as we remembered. We tried the Ceviche Trio and was truly fresh and delectable. We had the seafood paella that was outstanding. Service was attentive and helpful--thanks so much for another fantastic... More

My wife and I were in town for a little getaway and to celebrate our Birthdays...Our first stop was Alma de Cuba. WOW. From start to finish, we were amazed...not only by the service and ambiance but the food as well! We started with the Ceviche Trio and we were blown away by the presentation and the flavors! This has been one of favorite restaurant to go when we are back in Philadelphia, the staff is great and the place is quite romantic for a nice dinner with your love one. The food is delicious and authentic, the flavoring is nothing like no other. The location is great if you stay in center city, if not there is... More
