This restaurant was near our hotel and well-rated so we gave it a try-- WHAT FUN!! Cutest decor and the food was truly excellent! I wish we had been there long enough to go back! Great food, great service.

My fiancee retired from the military and her office had a surprise retirement party for her here. Aesthetically, the restaurant is beautiful. We were served family style, which consisted of seven courses. Everything was amazing! I wasn't impressed with the drinks. But that's ok. The...More

It was the first time my wife ate dinner at Alma de Cuba. The dinner was delicious with a great Cuban flare.

I had dinner here solo at the bar while traveling for work. The food was creative, fresh, and expertly prepared. Drink menu was fun and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and my server was able to provide good recommendations from the menu as well as...More

I visited Alma de Cuba during restaurant week and I was very impressed about the quality of the food, the kindness of the waiters and the location itself. I had a really nice shrimp ceviche, then chicken as main, and a chocolate dessert. Everything impeccable!...More

Anytime we have friends from out of town come to visit us in Philly, Alma is a go-to. Flavorful food, great drinks, cool atmosphere. But the snootiness of our waitress did not go unnoticed, and we mentioned this to the manager as well. As for...More

We visited as a business group. The appetizers were good, but the main course was not as good. The service was a bit slow but the waiter was very kind and well spoken. Overall, as a vegetarian, there was nothing I could savor and enjoy....More

My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time during restaurant week in Philly. They had a fixed priced $35 menu which, though quite limited, offered some delicious dishes. The service is very good and the food is well prepared and presented.

I have been eating cuban food for more than 30 years. Both in Miami and Puerto Rico. I have eaten in restaurants and in private homes. This place was awful. Once of my favorite dishes is Vaca Frita. This place ruined it. We were a...More

This is my favorite restaurant in the city. We decided to take our children here after seeing a show and before visiting Spruce Street Harbor Park. We arrived on Sunday when they first opened with my husband and our 2 daughters. (14 and 11) We...More

Yes - but I have not ordered wine in my three visits. I usually expect this as a standard at my favorites, but their Cuban/Caribbean drinks are so great... I never thought about it. Nor did my many guests.

Dressy casual is fine, but you wouldn't be out of place if you were dressed up.
