Typical higher end US grille style restaurant. Perfect for red meat eaters with a good range of steaks, but also reasonable choice for less red blooded diners! Gets pretty busy so booking advisable - even mid-week.

When I last visited the Capital Grille, I was on one of my solo treks in Center City. I hadn't been to this restaurant for some time, so I was curious if the food was as good as I last remembered. It was! I had cooked to perfection lamb chops with accompanying sides. The service was excellent! I knew I... More

it was a busy theater night and service was slower than prior, but it was worth the wait. we had the bone in filets and truffle fries. once we got our meal, service was fine. i would come back. they gave my son deserts for free--nice touch!

I was in group for a business dinner. As far as I was concerned, the expensive prices were no object and no concern to me and my normally tightwad attitude. The immense amount of food with each course was WOW. The appetizers were lobster cakes, steak tartare, and calamari. Large salads too. The main courses were various steaks, chicken, and... More

Great wine list! Food was top notch and well priced for the quality. Loved the location and decor. Entire staff made us feel welcomed. The surprise birthday candles really made the kids day!

For these astronomical prices we were expecting spectacular food and experience. While the filet oscar was very good, it missed spectacular as did the Chilean bass. Wait staff were good but again, not spectacular.

I wish I could give this a better review. The ambiance was lovely and the service was terrific. But the food was only average. The wedge salad was not as good as I've had a chain restaurants. The strip steak au poivre was stringy and disappointing. Skip the truffle fries--nothing special. Good coconut cream pie and excellent wine selection but... More

If you are looking for a restaurant for a larger party in Center City, Capital Grille is a good choice. The menu is varied and appeals to many palates. The service was great - very attentive and helpful. Valet parking was available for dinner.

Description
The Avenue of the Arts is the perfect avenue to dry aged steaks, too. Philadelphia Magazine declared The Capital Grille “a carnivore’s dream.” Top off your fabulous meal with dreamy Chocolate Espresso Cake or Crème Brulée. Then stroll it off on your way to Kimmel Center or the theatre.
