Had a truly wonderful meal at the Capital Grille! We got in just before the Theater Menu Special was over. Couldn't have been better. Three course meal: soup or salad, entree, dessert. $39.00 per person. Great value and everything was prepared beautifully. We had an excellent server (Jessica, I believe.). I enjoyed the meal and surroundings immensely.

We tried this place while the Palm Restaurant was closed. What a find! The wine list is extensive and reasonable. The bartenders are very friendly and make wonderful Martinis!! We have not sampled an entree (yet) but the appetizers are great. Tuna tartare and the lobster/crab cakes....heaven. And it is very close to the parking garage below Macy's.

Recently took clients out for a quick bite before returning to the convention center--Bridget F was our server; She took excellent care of us while understanding our time constraints. Our orders were delivered quickly and were delicious-cant go wrong with any form of surf & turf here. although they have a wide variety of drinks nothing was pushed on us... More

Enjoy eating dinner here 4 or 5 times a year. Steaks are consistently delicious and cooked as ordered. Fabulous calamari appetizer. Favorite cocktail is the Stoli-Doli

Came for Mother's Day and Graduation and thought that the Captial Grille was solid. Our waiter was very friendly and professional but forgot small things like giving desert menus to the whole table, instead of giving menus to just a few people. The french onion soup is very large. I didn't think there was anything incredibly great about †he soup,... More

Hands down the best steak I have ever eaten! My boss had been going here annually for the last 6 years and had been banging on about it for the last month to me. Well, it didn't disappoint. We had a cracking mid-range red to pair and the service was excellent. See you again next year!

We had dinner here last Thursday. The waiter was so responsive and the food was incredible. The best part of the night was the classic creme brulee at the end of the night! I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a very nice classic dinner.

Just landed in Philly after visiting family in Florida for Easter. The kids were starving and mom felt the same so we called the Capital Grille to ask about takeout. Alexis, Ken and their crew knocked it out of the park. Not only was it ready as we arrived, but two of the girls walked it out to our shuttle... More

Would have made this a five star other than the fact one of the meals they could not get right. The steak was ordered medium well and came out bleeding! They took it back and it came out again bleeding. They took it back one more time and it still came back very rare and now tough!! They knew it... More

The Avenue of the Arts is the perfect avenue to dry aged steaks, too. Philadelphia Magazine declared The Capital Grille “a carnivore’s dream.” Top off your fabulous meal with dreamy Chocolate Espresso Cake or Crème Brulée. Then stroll it off on your way to Kimmel Center or the theatre.
