Nearby parking and close to historic Christ Church and Penn's Landing, check out Cuba Libre. Had a business lunch in the city and was whisked away by the atmosphere and menu to a Caribbean experience. Made me forget I was in Philadelphia. Fabulous menu, plenty of choices and wonderfully prepared and presented. Our waiter Aaron was most helpful and very... More

Had Brunch here on Sunday. They have a Tapas menu, with an unlimited option, which is probably the best way to go. Food was really good, seemed authentic, and reminiscent of being in Havana in the 50s (at least what I imagine it to be in my mind). All the plates were good, but some that stuck out were the... We live in MD but we're spending the afternoon in Philadelphia to celebrate Valentine's Day while our children were with relatives. My husband found Cuba Libre on Trip Advisor...and we both completely loved it. The ambience, (2 levels) a street facade complete with flowered balconies/beautiful large-leaf style fans, Cuban style music and two bars, made you feel as though you... More

Valet Parking is available in front @ $21 or parking lot down the street is @23. The restaurant opens up to its first bar as you check in. We made reservations and the table was ready right on time. We were taken to the 2nd floor where the 2nd bar is located and more tables for seating. The atmosphere is... More

Been to Cuba Libre many times, and never had a bad meal. Tonight was no exception. This time I had the Vaca Frita...shredded steak...was excellent. Of course the mango butter and bread was to die for, again! Started the night off with a Cuba Libre drink, which was strong enough and very tasty. Valet parking at the restaurant is $21.... More

I was there in a deay off I had during a business trip, so I was alone but I felt very warm and good in this place. The food was abs ok: I starget with black bean soup (ok to get wormad in a chilly day), spiced tapas (pervect) and sweet. A couple of beers (the mexican ones "Mobelo") and... More

I had the black angus sirloin steak and my colleague had the yellow fin tuna. I had enough food for leftovers. The steak sauce was delicious. We had bread with mango butter that was terrific and the mojito did not disappoint. I can imagine going there in the summer where the atmosphere would be even more like Cuba - hot... More

We were in town visiting friends and decided to meet here for dinner on a Friday night. We were a group of 6 and were seated comfortably at a large round table. We had 8:30 reservations so we could stay for drinks and dancing after. Our meal was delicious and plentiful. Way more food for tapas than I imagined but... More

We enjoyed everything we tried at this establishment. They offer a variety of meal options from tapas, to main dishes to a pre fixe menu. If you want to truly experience Cubin cuisine, I recommend getting the pre fixe option. It comes with numerous dishes for apptitzers, dinner and desserts, and nicely sized portions. The restaurant is pricey, but worth... More
