The owner Ravi invited us to visit his upcoming food joint in Walnut street and we were amazed to see the way he decorated his place. Peace, peace and peace. Very nice food, the one special thing about their kitchen is they put one special ingredient called LOVE and affection which makes their food so tasty and delicious. They recreated... More

This is one of the BEST places to eat Indian Food. The restaurant food is cooked fresh EVERY single day, it's all that you can eat and is extremely affordable. The Staff is always friendly. There's a choice between eating the buffet or from the menu. MMMMmm all the food is a finger licking treat. And their after dinner tea... More

They changed name to Saffron. The food was great and service, too. There is a buffet and a menu to order if you don't want to choose the buffet.

This restaurant has changed names, and presumably owners at least three times since I've lived in the neighborhood. It used to be all vegetarian but the last two incarnations have included a regular meat menu. The food has always been fairly ordinary, perhaps not bad for an inexpensive lunch at the buffet, but nothing special at all. The dinner buffet... More

We went there for some Indian cuisine, we entered and the guy was answering barely our question, we asked if they charge for kids he said 5 and up, our son is 4, each time we will ask he will answer like he is not in the mood to talk to any one, when he refilled the water it was... More

It's nice to find a good restaurant with a nice buffet. It is vegetarian/vegan Friendly (not exclusively, but we vegans ate well there). The samosas, the salad bar, the chutney, the rice, the fruit: all delcious. There was an interesting variety. All of the food at the buffet at an affordable 12.99. Atmosphere was quiet and clean. I would go... More

I love this place. Located within a few blocks of Wills Eye Institute where I have monthly appointments, it is my go-to lunch establishment. I am a vegetarian, so the fact that all but four buffet items are veggie is a big bonus. I love the samosas, dahl, tikka masala, and at least five other offerings. The owner delivers freshly-made... One of the closest Indian Buffets located east of Broad Street along Walnut Street. Food is not bad but it can definitely improve especially if I had to compare it with the UCity Indian buffets like Sitar India and New Delhi.

While the food was edible this is one of the strangest restaurants I have ever eaten in. The served had no interest in taking our order, had to find him for the bill - was he really hiding? Do not recommend.
