After visiting the penitentiary, we stopped in for lunch before continuing our tour. We were able to sit outside with a great view of the prison. We split the philly cheese steak. Although the bread was alittle stale, the taste sandwich was still good. We...More

Stopped in for a couple of beers and a quick bite to eat after doing the Eastern State Penitentiary. Had a really great bartender and she recommended the fries with their special sauce. Fries and sauce were great. Will definitely stop again next time we...More

We went and had drinks here after visiting the penitentiary. The place has a very cool interior design. A great selection of beer and drinks. The appetizers we had were also very good.

The food was good. We had the southern pulled pork sandwich and the beef brisket sandwich and both were excellent. The view out the big firehouse doors to the street and ESP were nice. Service was great.

Located right across the street for the Easter State Penitentiary, it was a nice place to have lunch first. Food was good, and not too expensive. The serve rolls before the meal and cookies after. Very nice touch. Service was good.

I loved the building itself but as for the overall experience, it wasn't my favorite. The menu selection is pretty limited and kind of pricey for what the options are. Also seemed like it took a really long time for the food to come out.

This restaurant was just okay. The waitress was nice and attentive but the food took over 45 minutes to get to the table. The biscuits and cornbread were very good and luckily they held us over until out food arrived. The burger was bland, the...More

This converted firehouse is within walking distance of Philadelphia Art Museum, Rodin Museum, and across the street from Eastern Penitentiary. The large bar is lively and the adjacent open front brings the outside tables and sidewalk into the overall restaurant atmosphere. Food was terrific, good...More
