My son and I went Chinese food restaurant hopping one night and this was our first of 4 stops. They had the best I've ever had. It's not fancy but, it is honest and solidly good. Every neighborhood should have a place like this.

Little unpretentious restaurant serving great fresh tasting Chinese classics. We enjoyed especially the Peking duck, Peking ribs, Jumbo shrimp with walnuts. The Fook noodles were a little bland, but good; the vegetables in all dishes were fresh and well cooked. Well done, we will be back.

We have been to Lee How Fook numerous times in the last 30 years. First with the parents, now with the kids running the restaurant. Great people with a restaurant flair!! My husband is Cantonese, and this is our go to place when in city, especially when taking friends out to Chinatown. It is a friendly place, usual service one... More

If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price, you should give this place a try. Not a destination for a fancy dinner party, but the food is great, the service was excellent, and the price was good.

Had a late lunch here on advice of hotel employee. Good choice. Pleasant, efficient staff, reasonable prices, extensive menu choices. Tried a pork, mushroom, and turnip soup - very good! Spring rolls were large(like egg rolls) also good as expected. I had the Chef Special Seafood fried rice - loaded with shrimp, scallops, and crayfish. So much I couldn't finish... More

We have been going to Lee How Fook for over 20 years. Even though we moved to the suburbs, often I will place an order for take out on the way home. The potstickers have very fine wrappers and the filling is really delicious. I always order the salt baked shrimp with the shell on. Divine! It is crispy and... More

We have been here several times over the years and I just have to say this trip was average. The food was uneventful not nearly as good as it has been in the past! The Szechwan had no spice to it whatsoever. I really don't mind when the staff comes out for their lunch and eat in the restaurant as... More

The place is small - at 6:00pm we were the only ones in the place but by the time we were done the place was packed with a line at the door. The service is good, the food freshly cooked and served piping hot...don't burn your tongue! The boneless pork rib appetizer is out of this world good....Sea Bass, hot... More

The hot and sour soup is the best in town. They had changed the taste somehow during the past year or two but glad to report that they are back in top form! The Hot Pots are excellent as well. They also do a good job with 3-4 standard Chinese sauces applied to a combination of meat and vegetable ingredients.... More

Every time we gather in Philly for family events, we schedule a meal at Lee How Fook! Even though the owners are family friends, there isn't a better Chinese restaurant in Philly, or for that matter, any where. This time, we had a smallish party of 20 for a Friday lunch. We set it up in advance so the restaurant... More
