I visited with my daughter and was hoping for some authentic Latin American food or good "Americanized Mexican" but got neither. It felt like they were trying to be interesting but failed to be good. My sea food enchalladas were soggy with a creamy verde sauce that still manages to be taistless. My daughter tacos were a little better but... More

This was a Murals tour and we ate here afterward. It is charming, the servers were very friendly and helpful. I think we had about 6 or 7 courses, all very good. The non-alcoholic Mexican drinks were great. After awhile had to stop eating, was too full! It's an out of the way place on Girard Avenue but worth looking... More

The restaurant is in a very random spot and is small and home-like. It reminds me of my boyfriend's mother's kitchen who is from Mexico. The kitchen is visible, so we could see everything being made. Unfortunately, they don't have any queso to dip in, so I just ate plain flautas. The server claimed to be new and couldn't answer... More

This is our favorite Latino (Mexican/Puerto Rican) restaurant in Philly. It is not in Center City, or one of the City’s many restaurant hot spots, but rather at 4th & Girard. They bill themselves as a Regional Mexican place, but the menu seems to be broader than just Mexico. They have an open kitchen, so you can see the meal... More

This BYOB restaurant lets you bring your own tequila, you buy the pitcher margarita mix for $7.00 and they make it for you. Those grilled jalapeno peppers are hot, watch out if you don't like hot and spicy. The fish tacos were good. The quesadillas were just okay. Unfortunately, the seafood empanada could have been more tasty. The cheesecake dessert... More

I was lucky to work at this idyllic family restaurant and get acquainted with authentic mexican cuisine, to see how the restaurant functions from the inside. The owner and chef really cares about the quality of food which is served here and about the service itself. You will feel like home here. If you are not a fanatic of spicy... More
