We had only seen half the market. It is so huge! Many Handmade Furnishings,Fresh meat, Fish, Dairy products, Old World Medicinal products. Pastries. A great place to spend the day.

When I go to Philadelphia I always make it a point to stop at the Reading terminal. You can eat at counters or seated servers. There are fruits, vegetables, cheese, seafood and all kinds of candies and pastries and coffee to buy take with you. There are also stalls with crafts to sell. I suggest you wait for the days... It's awesome! The best place to visit if you are touring downtown Philadelphia. They have fresh vegetables, fish, and poultry. Restaurants with a wide variety of various cuisines. Bakeries, fish markets, butchers, pizzerias, you name it. Whatever your favorite food is, you can definitely find it in reading terminal. If u go when u are extremely hungry, you might end... More

I stayed at a nearby hotel for 4 nights, and visited the market every day. I bought cheese, crackers, cold cuts and fruit to keep in the room, I ate breakfast and lunch there multiple days, had a Guinness at Molly Malloy's and bought Italian baked goods to bring to a birthday celebration. If I lived in Philly, this would... More

Went on a Sunday and it didn't seem as crowded as what other reviews have stated. There is definitely something for everyone. Parking in two of the garages offer $4 parking for up to two hours if you spend at least $10 at the market. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Went on a Saturday so a bit crowded but nothing too crazy. Stopped at multiple food booths and they were all delicious! Easy to get to, parking not a problem and easily walkable from most hotels. If you can handle the lines, get the donuts!

We could see on entering the Market that it was very busy since it was lunch time etc The problem in the market is a shortage of seats. After scrambling to find suitable seating we then queued for the food. We tried the famous " Cheese steak " which was tasty and the meal overall was satisfying. The overcrowding spoilt... More

We were very happy to discover this place was conveniently close to our hotel. This meant we could easily sample some of the vast range of foods at breakfast, lunch & dinner. There is of course Philly Cheesesteaks on offer but don't limit yourself to just those.

Love the Reading terminal for its farmers market feeling it gives me! Can't leave without some of the Amish chicken and their fresh squeezed lemonade! If you're looking for fresh produce or all sorts of fresh fish this is the place. If you are visiting Philadelphia include the Reading terminal as a place to visit. Plenty of eats and accessible...
