If you’ve got at least two people in your party, I’d suggest splitting up, one waiting at Pat’s and one at Geno’s. The rivalry and “which is better” is a fun Philly experience. Pat’s being the original, is a must eat IMO if visiting. The...More

Pat's and Geno's across the street are really just tourist attractions. Better cheese steaks at smaller venues. But if you want a tourist pic to show you have been there, why not? Our hotel had a better cheese steak!

Good luck finding parking around here. Better practice up on your parallel parking, too. Felt a little rushed on my order, even though no one else was in line. I came up and ordered a whiz wit, and he looked at me funny and asked...More

I've driven on a few occasions from New York to Philadelphia ONLY for a cheesesteak from Pat's. Worth it every time.

My wife and I tried both the provolone and the whiz sandwiches. Whiz was - by a wide margin - my favorite. We also tried Geno’s the next day. Also good but Pat’s would be my first choice!

The sandwich was good but the fries was below average. Next time if I have a choice I'll eat at Gino's

Who doesn't like Pat's? And who doesn't like Geno's? We had quite the eating adventure. We went to Pat's and shared a cheesesteak. Then we went across the street and got a cheesesteak at Geno's so we could do a one-to-one comparision. They are both...More

Wow, do you put alot of meat, etc. on your sandwich! My friend/husband split theirs in half. Unless you have a really healthy appetite, a whole sandwich you can NOT eat in one sitting! Very tasty; messy with cheese on ;) Loved outdoor tables. Reminded...More

Seriously Pats is he best. I tried Geno's and Tony Luke's. Pats is the best. The bread stays firm, the meat is super lean, and the cheese was perfect. It wasn't runny! I loved it!

I tagged along with my hubby who loves Philly cheesesteaks. It's a tradition. The lines are long and fast paced. Pat and Geno's face each other. You are expected to know what you want by the time you make it to the... More
