Quite large and very crowded on weekends with students, they have lots of TVs for showing sports. There is a restaurant in back and a very nice lunch and dinner meun and seating is mostly in comfortable booths

Had lunch with a friend. Our waitress Mary was very nice and attentive. Good pub selections at a great price. The food comes out fast and is fresh. A great Philadelphia institution

Lovely relaxed welcome and good wine on offer - this was a welcome refuge on a long walking exploration of this great city.

I tried The Irish Pub randomly for dinner on St Patrick's Day. I'm glad I did! The place was packed; however, you wouldn't know it by the service they gave me. The wait staff was quick to respond take my order and make sure I was satisfied with my dinner. The best part of my experience was Christina my waitress;... More

A pub that we have been to on numerous occasions when we visit Philly. My wife likes the chicken thumbs!

Went for dinner on a date night during late summer. The menu does not include very many Irish dishes. When I inquired I was told that the summer menu is different from the winter menu. Don't the Irish eat during the summer? I understand not offering stew or shepherds pie in July and August but there has to be more... More

My wife and I stopped in for a pint and passed on the food only because we had reservations elsewhere. We make it a point to visit at least one Irish Pub in every town or city we visit, assuming there's one to visit. The beverages were good, the service friendly and I enjoyed the decor. Close to Rittenhouse Square,... More

gets bad rap as tourist trap but really an ok place. The Irish have never been known for haute cuisine. Remember the potato famine? So, you get ok down home food. But the wings are great & atmosphere lively & upbeat. Btw I am of Irish descent so I know. Me poor mither was a horrid cook but I still... More

The food was delicious and very well priced! We did have a little confusion over what "breadsticks" meant (Keebler crackers by the way), and fried scallops that weren't expected (but were delicious). But overall we had a wonderful experience, the dining area is really pretty and just oozes history. The staff is very nice and gives you space to talk,... More
