This is one of my favorite places to go for brunch. I always sit at the bar and the servers/bartenders are always friendly and either chat with you if you want conversation or leave you alone (I will take a book or the paper sometimes). They make a really good bloody mary! The brunch menu is different than the usual... More

3 of us had dinner last night at Nola. When we arrived, the outdoor tables were full, so we were seated inside by a window. The menus were dirty, as mentioned by another reviewer, but the rest of the table setting was fine. The waiter was friendly and helpful in guiding our food and drink selection. It got warm where... This place has been there for years. Always great food, but it needs a good cleaning and new rugs. We ate outside along with having drinks. The appetizers were really good along with the drinks:) I went inside to use the restrooms and the place was empty except for the people who were at the bar.

We visited for an early dinner on Mother's Day with our daughter & son. Daughter was visiting from Boston & we wanted to walk around the city in an area convenient to the airport. It was empty when we arrived but apparently they were very busy for brunch. There were so many negatives when we sat down we almost walked... More

I'm pretty generous but no. Empty and dark as described by the other reviews. Poor server who has to promote this.

This restaurant provided a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere where one can enjoy a meal. The menu selection was varied with reasonable prices for the high qulaity of food prepared.

My husband and I were in the Society Hill neighborhood window shopping and decided to try one of the local establishments. We ultimately were deciding between The Artful Dodger and Cafe Nola and boy did we choose incorrectly! The first thing that should have tipped us off was the lighting. It was 6pm on a beautifully sunny day and you... More

Cafe Nola has been a favorite over the years, in all its locations. As someone who loves New Orleans and visits often, I really want to like this place, but simply can't any more. A silent, empty restaurant in a busy tourist area at 8:00p on a Saturday portends no good. The bartender -- while affable enough -- is apparently... More

Wish I would have listened to the reviews and stayed away!!! The food was bland overcooked..and not worth the restaurant week price!...when I first walked in the bathroom was foul and there was a weird odor in the restaurant. My water glass had lipstick on it and the server was not very attentive. The seafood bisque taste like water .. my shrimp... I'm another victim of restaurant week. The sad thing is this restaurant has been at this location for at least 10 years with the same problem. They were formally known as EuroCafe, before changing to Cafe Nola, but kept the same chef. I was a patron of the restaurant about 10 years ago, and while I loved the food, I... More
