Philadelphians take their soft pretzels seriously, so I had to try one of the places known for them. Center City caters mostly to large orders and they have limited hours. We caught them when they were open and tried one pretzel. Fresh, warm, and good texture; I only wish I took some mustard with me.

We stopped here for a pretzel early in the morning. They are used to larger orders, as we ordered one pretzel to share and it cost 35 cents. It was a good pretzel, but I wasn't blown away by it. If I lived in the area I might use them to help provide pretzels for a party as they usually... More

They always have ready pretzels and can make a batch without salt for a traveler. The service is always friendly. I usually get 2 or 3 dozen pretzels and freeze them for my drive to North Carolina.

We only found out about this gem of a pretzel store/company because we asked a couple of teenagers munching on the fresh soft pretzels at the nearby 9th Street Italian Market a couple of blocks away. You can easily miss the front door if you are not paying attention. The more you buy the more you save. We bought 18... More

There are so many Philly Pretzel choices fights break out. Friendly, of course! I'm a Philadelphian who, unfortunately, does not live in Philly right now. So when I get home I want the best pretzel. I must write here, there are lots to choose from... a few are superb, more than a few are.. NOT. I'm not such a purist,... More

I called ahead to place an order and they were waiting for me when I arrived. Fresh pretzels hot out of the oven, so reasonably priced. Excellent and friendly service and the freshest, tastiest pretzels around.

Philly's soft pretzels are justifiably famous, and this is an authentic place to get one -- or 100, if you want. They're very cheap, like 3 for $1.00 or a little less if you buy more. They'll sell them to you hot out of the oven, and there's a squirt bottle of mustard to use if you'd like. It's more... More

The Center City Pretzel Co. (bakery) is a great stop for a great soft Pretzel in the Bella Vista neighborhood of South Philly. There is nothing better then a warm pretzel right out of the oven. One gets 3 pretzels for a buck!
