Grabbed a coffee (wife got the Pumpkin Spice Latte) on a walk around the market. Always enjoy supporting small businesses and this was a good choice. Coffee was as expectedly good (same for my wife) which is what you want from an independent roaster.

Located in an alley between N 2nd St and N 3rd St, Old City Coffee was just what I was looking for on my coffee break from being a tourist :) Homey and quaint, this coffee shop offers seating inside for those who'd rather read a book or work on their laptop while sipping on something yummy. They have plenty... More

I was early for a meeting and I stumbled into Old City Coffee to see what they had (I had had there coffee once before on a visit to Philadelphia, but never ate there). While there oatmeal is a little more expensive than a chain coffee place nearby, it is much fresher and bigger. All told, a medium coffee and... More

Coffee shop located inside the Reading Terminal Market so you can order a coffee and then stop by and get an Italian pastry, breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of the other vendor stands and get seating in the middle of the market. Very friendly staff and excellent coffee and cafe late. They also sell roasted beans there.

I had a vanilla latte and my husband had a cappuccino, both were wonderful. We enjoyed walking the market and there was a lot to see. Although many of the shops were closed because it was a Sunday I'm guessing.

After visiting Christ Church, my young daughter desperately needed a restroom. We were parked at the Liberty Bell, so had quite a walk ahead of us. I saw the coffee shop, and she was able to use the restroom while I fell in love with the iced coffee. Definitely a quaint, clean place. Wish I could have gone back, but... More

A true coffee house with many different blends of coffee. I had a red eye...(one shot of expresso in the coffee) it was delicious and much better than Starbucks....I also had a granola with yogurt while my wife had a coffee and was surprised how much she enjoyed it..For a true old city coffee feeling...give this place a try...The employees... I was amazed that coffee went from bagged beans to finished product in this small space. Walk around back especially if the roaster is working and grab a stool to watch. Know what you want before you get to the front of the line in the mornings, because plenty of decaffeinated people will be standing impatiently behind you!

Man. That ice coffee hit da spot. I kept it black like my boyfriends. Didn't need no cream. No sugar either. Only sissies adulterate they coffee.
